The ultima alpha

Luke's pov

Running through the woods as fast as my legs could carry me, all I could think about was my mother's sad face cause she knew the risk of my transition as I closed my eyes and my mind drifted. Here I was in the forest where I have trained all my life for this very moment. running, as I came to a halt at a cliff. It was a matter of the mind now it was either I jumped or I faced my predator I waited on the cliff as my plaintiff came to sight it was a grey wolf with crimson eyes and pointy ears, staring at me like it was checking something just like I was observing it movements just then it raced towards me and my reflex kicked in, making me move towards it with same speed trying to dodge it but it was like it knew my every move as it merged with me and I groaned in pain and my bones began to crack every bone I had in my body moved in pain shedding my human skin as I transitioned. I woke up in the cave still in my wolf form I wanted to find my mother immediately but the wolf in me had a different plan I left the cave running from through the bayou until I found the cliff, the same cliff in my mind and then I howled

Luna Aurora's pov

I watched as luke body was taken to the cave as I feared for my son's safety as it had been seen by our seer that there will be two Ultima wolve from the changelings and I prayed my son will be one or at least get to the cliff of the great crescent wolves so he could continue after his father I and the elders were outside the cave in the bayou when an Ultima black wolf came out of the cave moving in the direction of the great cliff I was almost sure it was not luke as my motherly instincts took over and I followed the wolf leaving the elders of wolves behind breaking protocol I took the bush part and stayed hidden when we got close to the cliff we heard a wolf howling at the top of the cliff someone had beat us to it, how? I thought moving as fast as my paws could carry me revealing my presence to the ultima wolf who also kept his race towards the cliff...There it was a grey wolf howling out to the moon. Before it malformed into its human form, it was Luke, my son, how did he get here? I thought to myself as he walked to me with his eyes still crimson in colour before he called out for me, "mother" he said.

Back at home there was music and dancing as the wolves of the crescent park made merry and rejoiced because no wolf died today during the transformation as the transition could kill if one was not strong enough also a new successor had been chosen by the moon goddess herself just like she has always done in time past. The moon goddess is well respected by the crescent wolves as we draw energy from the moon and just like the story that has been passed on from generations to generations a man named alpha lived happily with his beautiful wife in a small village this village had a tyrant king who sold his subordinates for slavery and made the less privileged suffer the villagers were all scared of him cause he killed anyone that would go against him, he fined them with heavy tax and if they could not pay he sold them for slavery. Alpha loved his wife so much as she did him. they knew when the former was hurt happy or sad, a neighbouring kingdom asked for the tyrant king's help in a war and he owed them but he did not want to release his army for a war that will not favour him the king asked all the men who were not trained in war to go for the war and Alpha had to leave his wife for the war after the war news got to the village that they were victorious and there was a coup to remove the king and the leader of this coup was Alpha. When the king heard of this he captured Alpha's wife but he was taken aback by her beauty and offered her gold and riches for her to leave Alpha but Luna refused and he tried to lay with her forcefully but she took out his pocket knife and killed herself because she loved her husband dearly. The king for a moment felt remorseful but in that moment he cut of her head and sent it to Alpha, he was devastated and lost sight of his mission to dethrone the tyrant king, until he crosses part with a woman in the forest as she was running from slave traders he rescued her and tried to take her back to her people she refused and offered him herself but he refused her as he still loved his wife even in death she then she revealed herself to him as the moon goddess and gave him the gift of turning into a wolf at will and be at full power during the full moon alpha killed the tyrant king and gave the gift to those who wanted it. The moon goddess created the mate bond for wolves just like the bond Alpha and Luna had for each other. After some time Alpha remarried to have descendants of his own; the crescent park are the descendants of Alpha since then all leaders of the park are called Alphas and their mates are called Luna.

Luke's pov

All the elders where waiting as I walked into the hall taking my seat on my father's throne as there was a pressing issue at hand that I had to handle dad was in a war with a rogue alpha, Alpha Azgada, for three moons nowand there was still no news, everyone was becoming weary so I decided to match to their camp with reinforcements mother was against the idea but still I pursued the idea till mother agreed when the meeting with the elders has ended mother asked to see me privately. Here in the great hall she asked me how I got to the cliff without any one seeing me but I could not answer her question because even I could not explain it I held her by the shoulder and said it was the moon goddess's doing, but she was not done she asked me if I knew about the war my dad was in I did not so I said no she told me it was not too late to change my mind but I refused she told me my father was alive I asked her how she knew and she answered saying be it was the mate bond, oh the mate bond that was true I had forgotten about it she could feel everything he felt and he if he was dead it would have been broken no wonder she is calm about the whole situation the death of a mate can make one loose their sanity or loose all will to live it was a feeling i plan not never to going to experience I never wanted been find my mate it t seemed like the only thing that had not changed since I became a werewolf I never wanted to bind myself to anyone i thought to myself as i bade mother bye and went into the war room to join the remaining generals to plan how to get back dad and the fifty warrior-wolves we sent to battle. They all just kept staring as I asked questions and made defence plan I felt like a total different person I know I have been trained for this but I never took any of it seriously I guess it reflected in the way I talked and carried myself that why everyone kept staring at me.
