Samantha Holmes had never thought of getting into the world of endorsing suitor until she got entangled with a supernatural being. She was in her second year in the university when she met her arrogant, possesive and hot looking professor. Mr montes. She had thought it was just a mere coincidence that she got entangled with him but she had no idea that he had other plans in stuck for her.
Ten years ago. The strongest pack, known as the barbaric claws pack, fell into the hands of a human lingering in the wood. Nobody knew how one human could bring down such a pack territory, the Alpha lost its people and neighboring pack.
"The flames have all of them Alpha, we need to leave." His beta yelled out as he gave his pack one last stare before turning around to leave.
THIRTEEN YEARS LATER
SAMANTHA HOLMES
Pain,
Anger,
And frustration was what Samantha felt right now. She hated Mondays and, more especially, her new professor. Ever since he took them drama this semester, he had made life harder for her. She wondered why he made school arduous for her. She had never had an encounter with him in her past life of existence but he was sure to make her life miserable.
It wasn't her fault that they had met in a horrible way. Samantha always desired to strangle him in the neck and make him beg for air while she did that. She had once thought of flattering the tire of his BMW car and maybe if he had an accident and broke his leg, he wouldn't be here tormenting her life the next day.
Her professor was young and arrogant for no damn reason. Samantha felt more bothered because he was quite nice to the other students apart from her. Things pissed her the most because girls in her department threw themselves at him.
'He wasn't even hot.'
'Alright, that was a lie, maybe a little.'
Her professor wasn't the usual old-looking one. He was young, one would classify him to be in his late twenties, but he was a lot grumpier than even the oldies at the orphanage where Samantha dropped by once in a while. He was well built in the aspect of being tall, had sharp features, a balanced weight, and intelligence. He was a handsome man with an intellectual touch of loose talking in the aspect of indecency and rudeness.
His sense of fashion was also a check. Samantha wondered if he took the whole day to get his trousers ironed because they had the lining straightened neatly. Samantha's eyes screeched tingly when she remembered how he had disgraced her in their last class for coming late.
"Samantha?"
She hated this particular class because of him. He was such a show-off in his class, making all the girls blush. Samantha wondered why he dressed so well to teach them. Who was he trying to impress? Didn't he have a girlfriend or wife? If he did! He should be ashamed for trying to flirt with the whole female students in college.
Wait, Samantha wondered if she could make his handsome face fall into the huge poop of cows on the ranch? That would definitely make him less prideful. A chuckle escaped her lips at the thought of that.
"Samantha," A hand wriggled her, making her jolt back from her thought. "Not again," Samantha muttered when she noticed the whole attention of the class on her. She glanced to the front of the class to notice her arrogant professor glaring at her with an evil smirk.
"Why are they all staring?" She asked her friend Trisha. "The professor asked you a question." Her friend said quietly.
"Yes sir?" She asked, embarrassed by the stares the whole class was giving her. At this moment she wished for the ground to open and swallow her.
"I asked you to define the term 'Naughty'," he said, making her stunned. She wondered what had led him to ask her such a question. Weren't they just reading talking about a passage, So how was it that he was asking her to define such a word?
Samantha stared down at her friend for little help, but Trisha also had the expression that read 'I also have no idea bitch' written in her eyes. she gave an apologetic glance at Samantha before glaring back at Mr. Montes.
Samantha tried to peek at the book in front of her for help but Mr. Montes was quick to stop her. "I never asked you to check a book before you could give me an answer, I just talked about it if you were paying attention." He let out and Samantha was sure that everyone in school could have heard him.
He was such a beast in human form.
She wanted to define Naughty but couldn't radiate the exact Naughty he wanted her to define. "I'm sorry sir but I have no clear idea of what you want me to define," Samantha muttered. She was a little frightened when his veins began to pop out and his eyes became darker.
"It seems you are just in your own little world of fantasy, Ms. Holmes, but dropping my class for next semester wouldn't be awful if you don't want to end up having an F in my class." He said, his gaze not leaving her. "I love when my student gives me full attention and doesn't make me look stupid. Standing here to teach you isn't something easy while you all sit your butt down and accumulate nothing," he let out angrily.
Samantha knew that he was paying so much attention to her for no fucking reason. She had thought of dropping this class for next year so many times, but was she sure that she wasn't going to see him next year? What if he was taking another course next year that she had to offer. Would that mean seeing him twice?
She knew that he hated her to the extent that he would wear a microscopic device to mark her paper and fail her for a simple mistake in a test or exam.
"It won't happen again sir," she said, but he only chose that against her. "What is your major at university?" he asked.
"Theatre art," Samantha said, clenching her hand in a fist. "I think you all know that to be a successful in life takes a lot of hard work. I think you should go home and have another thought about what you want to study. It would be sadder if your parents wasted more of their money on you." He proclaimed, making Samantha's legs tremble.
She could hear the little mutual murmuring throughout the class.
"I want you all to be accurate in my class because I want to make it clear that any tiny error made in my exam won't make me think twice about failing you!" Derek said.
His words were painful and Samantha held herself badly from replying to her arrogant good for nothing professor. He was crossing the line and she was sure going to let this slide just once.
"If I don't test my students, then I have failed in my line of duty. Your previous professors may have let you all misbehave, but I won't want to see any of your faces in my class next semester." He said before flipping to the next page of his projector.
"Naughty, the girl in the passage we are about to discuss had a bad behavior that could be classified as badly behaved, disobedient." Mr. Montes said, with both hands tucked in his pockets. Trisha touched her hand softly before giving Samantha a small smile of inducement but that only made Samantha want to burst out into tears.
She stacked her books on her desk and began to pack them inside her bag. The class was going to be over anytime soon and she just couldn't wait to sulk inside the toilet alone.
She was stunned when his voice filled the air once again. "Ms. Holmes, I haven't dismissed the class yet. Have I?" He asked. "I wasn't leaving," Samantha replied as her small timid voice filled the silent class.
"I want you to read the next passage." he said authoritatively.
