Carlos was only 16 years old when he went through a painstaking transformation, turning him into a wolf-beast(werewolf). Being an abandoned child at only 4 months old, he has no idea what he truly is. He was later found and adopted by the Greys, a wealthy family that raised and nurtured him as their own. He goes on to boarding school at age 15 on an island where he meets his first love, Evelyn Brown. Only problem was that this "school" harboured students from three different countries surrounding the island, and they all hated each other. Both these young high schoolers were unfortunately on different "teams" being from different countries. Will carlos ever be able to convey his feelings towards his enemy? What will he do when the wrong people find out about his werewolf self?
The blue sky was dotted with fluffy white clouds that drifted lazily in the gentle breeze, the sun was was pouring in through the windows and the birds were chirping. All the students were in their respective classrooms studying their respective subjects.
"Excuse me young man, could you hide your answer sheet? The lady behind you is copying your work." A classroom teacher said.
"It's okay, let her do it. I don't want to fail alone." replied a random student.
Just another normal day at Millsbury High.
The time says 9 a.m. and the ringing of the bells reverberated across the whole school grounds. Students are now heading out of their classrooms, engaging in casual conversations as they did so.
"Today can NOT get any more boring. TGIF(Thank God It's Friday) tho."
"Was that really just first period class???"
"Bruhh, ain't no way am I making it to last period without passing ou-..."
"Ouch!"
A tiny squeal could be heard from the middle of the compound, from a girl who seemed to have suddenly fallen onto the ground. She laid down on the floor to the left side of her body, which was tiny in stature but at the same time curvy. Wearing a dark blue skirt with ankle socks that exposed most of her silky smooth, milk-colored legs.
"That hurt!"
She gently lifted her upper body off the ground, not knowing that her black and blue shirt had unbuttoned a bit, opening up a little at the top and showing her plumpy chest.
"Sorry, I didnt mean to-..." the student she bumped into turned around and took a good look at her on the ground. The two of them locked eyes and it wasn't at all the romantic kind. He on the other hand, was wearing an all white school uniform, except with a brown shirt underneath his blazer. Instead of finishing his sentence, he just stood there and kept quiet, whilst still looking down at her as his expression turned pale.
All the students suddenly paused and directed their attention towards them. Gazing towards a sight that shouldn't take take too long to figure out, as if they were dumbfounded by them.
"YOU STUPID GRIZZLY MORON!!! HOW DARE YOU TOUCH OUR CLASS IDOL!!!"
A fist came swinging from a 'dark suit' student towards the guy that was still standing, knocking his whole body off of his feet, over the girl and into the compound fountain.
"Huh?!?!"
"HOW IS IT HIS FAULT THAT YOU STUPID FLEA-BAGS CAN'T SEE WHERE YOU'RE GOING?!? She totally rammed into him on purpose!"
A bulky looking "white suit" student grabs a fellow "dark suit" by the leg, swinging him at a bunch of other dark suited students with his superior strength.
All the peace that once was has now suddenly vanished or turned into chaos. The students started gathering from the centre(fountain) towards opposite ends of the compound, with the "white suits" on one side and the "dark suits" on the other, creating a stark contrast between the two sides of the divide.
Now you may be wondering why the term "white suit" and "dark suit" are being used often, right? Such terms can only be derived by those who wish to openly and permanently separate themselves.
Millsbury Private High Boarding School is an expensive school containing numerous students located on a small island between three dominating countries that just damn near hate each other. There's Praderia to the west, the biggest of them all. Bronton up north and Maar Domain to the east.
Due to this territorial distribution, there was always a divide between the various students within the school. So dormitories were made for each of the three territories, called "houses", two of which were currently facing off at the central compound that connected all the houses.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"Hey! Get outta my way I said I wanna see what's happening!"
And here comes Carlos of the midnight wolves, a fan favorite among all his housemates, he is THE Predarian to have your back during a fight. He usually represents the 'pack' when his older brother isn't around.
"Whoaaa, it's Carlos Grey. Looks like he's coming over to make some trouble. What should we do, Miss Evelyn?" A lanky looking white suit came walking to the scene all slow and nerdy, adjusting his glasses as he did so.
"There's really not much to think about. We've always known Carlos was dead from the neck up. He's not going to listen to anything we say, so encounters like this are inevitable, Shaggy. Just stay by my side and keep the tiny hounds off me while I focus on Mr. Big dog over there."
Roger that, Miss Evelyn! Shaggy replied perversely by saluting and at the same time making an awkward kissy-face.
"Here she comes! It's our Evelyn!" The white suit bears cheer for their own house leader. This particular Bronton beauty was admired by her housemates for her intelligence, dependability and beauty.
Both house representatives now stand on each side of their respective dorm houses, staring down at each other as their housemates cheered behind them. It was the one-on-one duel that rarely happened during a fight. To the left we have Carlos Grey, the representative of the House of the Midnight Wolves at 17, entering the center of the battlefield as aggressively as ever, which he was known for. The thing about him was that, he managed to blend his abrasive, clumsy attitude with what looked like the body of a male model. He was effortlessly attracted by the fairer sex for his straight black hair that matched his thick dark eyes. Standing at exactly 6 feet and two inches, Carlos had a fit body with sculpted muscles that could be seen slightly bulging out of his dark uniform. His uniform was also all-black except for the blue shirt underneath his blazer with roll up sleeves, which was never tucked in just like the most of the "black suits".
Complementing him on the right, we have Evelyn Brown, or Ava or even Miss Evelyn as some of her mates call her, mostly out of respect. Unlike her aggressive counterpart, this particular second year student seemed rather calm and collected, despite her capable fighting prowess. Her average height coupled with her lightly fit physique sat well on her wafer-thin body. She has this habit of always smiling with her eyes closed, with her trimmed bangs just hovering over her eyelids, like your typical female anime character, which made sense when you consider what she wore. You have the snowy white thigh-high
stockings that stop just a little under her black miniskirt, the white shirt worn underneath her tight, white blazer that really brought out her petite pear shape. What really draws your attention to her though, is the sheer length of her rapunzel-like hair, reaching all the way down to her lower SKIRT. That was NOT normal and it's frosty white color did nothing but push her further high up into the realm of the chosen ones.
"Today, we finally settle whose house is stronger!" They conclude the face-off as both dorms engage in a battle of the best.
"Let me take care of Evelyn, Carlos. She's no match for our leader, after all." Clenching her fist in the air, Marianne was more than ready to take on the polar's leader and impress her childhood friend.
"No. I'll take care of her myself. I'll have them pay for making you fall on your butt like that. I'm counting on you to take care of that shitty four eyes." (Even though I don't really want to fight her. She's such a beauty.) He thought to himself.
She wiggles her cute, tiny body while placing her hands on her face.
"Awwwn Carlos! You're making me blush!!!"
"Ha ha ha, Please!"
Shaggy let's out his condescending laugh. "As if that pipsqeak could take me on. Don't worry Ava, I won't let anyone touch you! I'll protect you with my lif–"
No sooner did he finish his sentence than did his face suddenly shift to right. The devastating blow he recieved immediately rendered him unable to speak and down to the ground.
"Say that one more time! I dare ya!" Grabbing him by the collar while staring angrily into his unconscious eyes, Carlos repeatedly shoved him back and forth like a ragdoll. (Screw this guy! He keeps saying things I wanna say to her but can't! He's so friggin' annoying!) He let his thoughts fuel his rage.
Coming fast and hard, Carlos senses Evelyn rushing in with a strike using her bamboo cane, aiming for his left cheek with pinpoint accuracy. (Oh, she's attacking! Better make it look good.) He thought while the cane was still on it's trajectory.
*WHIP!!!*
The contact between the cane and his face generates the sharpest whipping noise.
"Carlos!!!"
Marianne shouts worriedly.
Evelyn sticks her arms out in front herself and slowly bats her eyelids.
"I don't really need anyone to protect me. I can take care of him on my own." She catches shaggy mid-air and tucks him within her arms like some damsel in distress. Really made her look like some super heroine.
Marianne places her hand on Carlos' back, gently lifting his upper body up from the ground. "Are you all right, Carlos?"
"Thanks, Marianne. She just caught me off guard." He says, wiping the dirt off of his face with the back of his left hand. (That looked believable....right?) he asked himself.
Evelyn points her sword at Carlos. With a stern look in her eyes, she looks down at him. "Come at me with all your strength, no holding back." She said.
"That's easy for you to say. I'm not really into hitting girls, y'know." He replied. (What a lousy reply!!! But how am I supposed to look cool when all I do is let her beat me up?!) He otherwise thought.
"Looking down on me again, are we? She muttered under her breath. You've always been like this..."
"Everyone stop what you're doing right now!!!" Suddenly a group of teachers came running towards the 'battlefield' to try and seize the fight.
"Oh crap! It's the teachers! Everyone, make a run for it!" Quickly the students scattered from the compound, roughly shoving each other as they did so. To them, the fighting just never ends.
"Fighting on school grounds is strictly prohibited you delinquent kids!!!" The teachers continued yelling.
"CARLOS!!!"
"Someday I'll beat your ass and finally prove to you that the Bronton bears are stronger than you filthy Predarian wolves!"
"Sore loser as always..." Carlos sighed "You're lucky Evelyn came to save you, otherwise you'd have been dead already."
"Carlos!" Her sweet voice called out to him. "Just forget him, class is about to start. Let's go!" Marianne waved her hand in the air as she made her way back.
He stood up from the ground, dusted himself off and returned to the wolves dormitory. He climbed the stairs of the front entrance in one leap and made his way into the doorstep of this huge, grey, castle-like building with a golden sign on top that read "House of the Midnight Wolves". It was mostly stone-based giving it this medieval kinda vibe to it, with peculiar wooden finishes on the roof and huge glass panels on the front of the building.
Upon entering inside the building, Carlos was immediately greeted by a group of second year girls on his way upstairs, as usual, except his denser-than-diamond head never really understood why.
"Huh? It's you guys again. What do you want this time?" Carlos wasn't usually this cold towards girls, but given his recent failed attempts towards confessing to a particular second year girl who seemingly hates his friggin' guts you can see how he's been knocked down a peg.
"See? He's not interested. I told you."
"Yeah, girl. Maybe he's already taken."
"Shut up, he's standing right there!" The girls whispered among themselves until one of them gathered the courage to talk to him.
"Say! The girls and I were wondering, since the school festival was coming up next week, would you maybe, I don't know, want to g–"
"HEYYYY!!!"
"Stay away from Carlos you shameless bitches!!!" Marianne interrupted angrily. "Can't you see he just came back from a fight?!?"
"Oh shit, it's Tiny-anne."
"Carlos' little self-proclaimed lover."
"She probably just wants Carlos for herself." The girls teased her one-by-one.
"For someone so tiny she sure is hella–"
"GYAHHH shut up before I rip the padding off your chest and stuff it up your #@$&*!!!" She immediately turns feral and starts chasing them around like an angry chihuahua.
None of them had even noticed that Carlos already made his way upstairs to the roof, ditching class for the umpteenth time in a row. It wasn't always like that though.
Up there on roof of the building, Carlos laid on his back with his hands behind his head and his legs crossed as he looked at the drifting clouds.
"*Sigh*...I remember when these fights used to be fun." He said to himself, alone. "I actually used to put in some effort back then! Until I didn't." He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
"It's been around a year and whatever the hell caused me to transform into a wolf-beast man is still a mystery to me. What's worse is I still can't tell this to anyone. The voice inside my head tells me not to and I don't know why, like it's warning me or something." Carlos was only 16 when he went through a painstaking transformation out of the damn blue that almost caused him to commit something horrible. He's tried keeping some distance between him and his peers especially at night and MOST ESPECIALLY during a full moon to his experience. This is when the class ditching started. He needed time to think, which was a lonesome task.
Ever since then- the day of his first transformation, with no one to lean on to he decided to go with the common superhero route- testing it out somewhere safe and secretive.
Every night he went to the forest close to the far east side coast of the island, home to innocent creatures, to self examine himself and his new body.
Night came, so he went there and transformed himself into a huge, mystical, half man, half wolf beast with thick black fur and blue eyes. As he was slowly traversing his way through the forest on his four legs, he faintly heard a metallic clicking sound and a loud yet sharp bang.
"Whoa!" He suddenly freaked out. He paused for a wary minute until the birds settled down, then decided to take a step forward.
"GRAHHHHHHHH!"
He fell straight down and tightly grabbed his hind leg out of pain.
Upon closer inspection, he noticed a clean hole through the leg that just only started gushing out blood uncontrollably.
"Oh sh*t! oh sh*t! OH SH*T!"
Trying his best to collect himself, he immediately turned around and growled angrily.
"WHO'S THERE!?!" barely standing up, his senses were now heightened for damn sure trying to detect where the earlier bang noise came from.
"Yeee ha ha haaaaa! No way in damn hell." He picked up the faint sound of an older man's voice and used his hyper vision to try and observe where it came from.
He saw someone. Someone in a cowboy hat with a black mask and a black suit, carrying a red sniper while making his way back to a speedboat at the coast. "Boss is gonna sh*t himself when he hears this..." was the last thing Carlos had heard as the engines started and the boat headed out into the angry ocean.
(He left?!)
Carlos was still hyperly confused and yet, relieved.
"I...have...to get...away from...here!" he strained using his remaining strength but something was off.
He felt like something was aggressively sapping him dry as he involuntarily transformed back into a human. There he laid down flat naked with nothing but a blue amulet tied to his neck while succumbing to the deep sleep that was taking over his foggy mind.
