Amanda kissed her daughter one last time who was crying for her parents. Kicking and screaming to get to her mother. Amanda looked away, refusing to cry in front of her daughter. Refusing to show Serra that she wasn't going to see her again Vincent put Serra in his SUV. The last thing that Serra remembered was the car driving away as gun shot was heard and her mother screaming in pain and agony.

Serra jolted awake from her dream. As often she was thrashing and crying like a trapped animal. After listening to her screams her two best friends, Jamaica and Anna came running in her room. Concern and fear was evident in their eyes. They engulfed her in a bear hug to calm her down. She was breathing heavily and sweat coated her forehead.
