Prologue.
Kiara Gilligan in her early twenties has been through a lot as a teenager.
After her mum's death, she cleaned up the tears that flowed down her cheek and is ready to give everyone her own serum like they gave her.
"You are fired." This is the fourth person she is firing today.
"Please ma, it was just a mistake." The general manager pleaded.
"Mistake, is that what you are paid for. Leave my office right now before I help you out." She yelled and the ex general manager picked up the document and left her office with a sworn face.
She hates any slight mistake, she checks her work countless times to be sure there is no mistake in it and expects everyone to do so.
"Boss, he is here. The C.E.O of Fincs and Co company." Her secretary said,
"Bring him in." She said absentmindedly, staring at the window.
The door slammed open and she felt unsettled. She turns back to see the most handsome man she has ever met in her entire life.
"Sit." She shuttered, staring at him.
"Thanks. Am Eric Finger. C.E.O Fincs and co." He said flirting and she hated the gut he had to flirt with her.
"And why did you think my company would want to work with you? What makes your company better than any other company out there?" She threw a lot of questions at him and he was stunned.
"Mine." His wolf growl claiming her.
"Not this rude boss lady right here." He mind linked his wolf back but his wolf wanted to have her.
"I know there are a lot of companies out there but what makes our company different is that we have the best product with over 34 countries using it and over 56 billion customers annually. And it will be a great privilege for your company to work with us to grow at a time." He said smiling and controlling his wolf at the same time.
"Your company was once the best selling product company, and the main reason you want to work with us is because you are out of lane. So your reason is a past glory. Can you give me more reason to collaborate with your company? A reasonable reason this time and not an excuse." She said turning her seat away from him to calm herself. She needs to work and just work alone.
"It will be a great opportunity for you, and your company." He paused and she was stunned. How dare him talk to her like that
"I work for my company to get to where I did not inherit after a naughty secret was revealed." He smirked and she felt intimidated.
"I think I will love to work with your kind. You are so bold, but prepare for my wrath too." She smirked back and he knew it was not just a work collaboration but more than work.
"Am done with you for today. Will you kindly drop your proposal and leave now. Or should I withdraw my word." She said in a weird tone and he dropped it and moved out.
"Don't you realize our mate is so beautiful and classic. She looks hot. You should have allowed me to touch you." His wolf said but he shun him off.
He has never been watched down or talked to the way the person is wolf claim as his mate did just now.
"I don't want her." He said walking toward the secretary desk.
"Is she always that crazy?" He asked her secretary and she smiled.
"Now I get." He said before pressing the elevator button and dinged open after a while.
