Kasey's plan for the summer was simple, visit her sister on a beach in Hawaii and allow herself to heal from the heartbreak. What she didn't expect was meeting a hot stranger in her sister's cottage while her sister was away on a trip with her boyfriend. Kasey is stuck with her sister's hot best friend for two weeks while she waits for her to be back from her trip. Another thing Kasey didn't expect was falling for her sister's best friend in two weeks.

Chapter 1 Moving

Life could never have been more unfair for Kasey because it kept throwing her way when it came to relationships. She was not the lucky type who gets her Prince Charming, all caring and loving. They all ended up leaving her. Now, she was tired of everything. She had decided to let go of anything that could stress her life due to her last relationship, and that is one thing; stress.

Kasey shook her head as she packed her bags and explained to her best friend that she would visit her sister in Hawaii and stay there for a while to heal from her heartbreak. It would do her no good to stay around and keep seeing the man who had trampled on her shattered heart. The fact that he was flaunting the girl he cheated on her with was heartbreaking.

She even had to resign from being an artist because her ex worked there. She was thankful for having a sister living far away because that would go far in healing her, from the new faces to new views and environment. They would go a long way.

"I understand you, Kasey. You made the best decision. Just be careful and let me know when you get there," Laurie, her best friend said and hugged her. She felt grateful for every time that Laurie had been there for her, days that she would cry her eyes out and she would still be willing to offer Kasey her shoulders. It was a crazy moment and that intensified her reason for wanting to get out of here so fast.

A few hours later, she was sitting down next to a hot and strangely handsome stranger on the plane. She could not help but steal glances. That was her problem whenever she saw gorgeous guys. Perhaps, she had been the cause of her heartbreaks all along, letting herself get attracted to handsome guys who are nothing less than players.

She met his eyes but quickly averted her eyes. Those eyes were going to be the beginning of her total ruin if she gave in to the admiration of the extensive and luring eyeballs with long lashes. She concluded he would be nothing but a player. He was too handsome not to be.

Her eyes strayed to his shoulders, and he realized they were broad. His shirt was not fully buttoned, which gave her a hint of his chest. It was not hairy. That was romantic. "Oh, my God! What am I doing?" she cautioned herself before closing her eyes tightly and reminding herself how all guys were. They were always charming with rotten personalities. They would do nothing but make her hurt over and over again. Every love she offered them would be trampled upon without mercy. Her ex taught her that in the cruelest way, cheating on her with her arch-enemy and still flaunting him around the whole school.

Ladies mostly get blinded by their appearance without even giving the personality a second thought. That was what happened to her. Her ex had been so caring at first and had made her feel like she was the only woman for him. Little did she know how evil he was. She did not even wish to remember the details. They were what she wanted to forget.

At that moment, she wished to have amnesia.

But to be honest, the guy next to her was hot. A second look, no. That was wrong. An umpteenth look at the guy wouldn't hurt. She looked at him one last time and met his eyes again. This time, she felt embarrassed because she knew he had caught her checking him out, especially with the way her lower lip was inside her mouth. She immediately removed it and let it stay wet. She felt stupid and she had no doubt that she looked stupid as well too.

She felt awkward and did not know what to say. Nothing she could say to justify herself, anyway. Should she say hi to lessen the tension? No. She decided against that. That would be as if she was making moves on him and could lead to questions like, 'How are you doing? Where are you going?'

The plan was to get out of her mess of a love life, not get herself into another more significant kind of shit. So, she ignored the guy even when he said hello.

"You look familiar," the hot guy said.

She almost laughed out loud. He was trying to make her talk, and she would never fall for that. So, she should not make the mistake of saying a word to him. It was not like they knew each other from Adam before. And she was sure she was never going to meet him again. When she got down from this plane, she would make sure to run away from him as fast as she could.

____

Kasey sighted her sister while waiting at the airport to pick her up. She grinned and hugged her sister, and they started approaching her car.

"My friend is also supposed to be back from the USA today as well. You have the same arrival time, so I thought I would be able to take you guys home together and introduce you two," Kate said.

"We should have waited for the person, then," Kasey said.

Her sister smiled and looked at her as she drove on, "It's fine. You'll meet each other at home. And besides, I did not tell him that I was going to pick him up, so...," she explained and shrugged with a smile.

Kasey smiled and nodded, too. "I love your car."

"Thanks, darling. It's Venza. Do you want it?" Kate asked with a smile.

"Really? Are you going to give me this? Thank you so much!" Kasey gushed.

Her sister's smile disappeared as she said, "No. I was going to tell you to work hard get yours instead of getting heartbreaks."

"Oh!" That was all she said before her sister broke into a round of laughter.

"You're so cute when you become grumpy. I love that. Anyway, tell me about your boyfriend. You haven't told me what happened."

Kasey looked at the window screen. "What I love most about your house from the pictures you sent me is the beach. That's going to be my favorite place."

"Wow! Guess you don't want to talk about it yet," her sister figured and smiled. Kasey was always like that, bringing out new topics from nowhere to avoid being questioned.

They got to her sister's house and alighted, carrying some of her bags along into the room her sister told her would be hers. The window has a view of the beach from a mile away.

She had started unpacking when she realized there was still a small bag in her sister's car, so she went out to get it.

She became shocked and dumbfounded by what she saw outside the house. It was the hot and handsome guy from the plane. She found it hard to believe he followed her there. "What the fuck are you doing here? Don't tell me you followed me all the way ...."

He could only smile. "Actually..."

Kate came out of the house and descended them. "Oh, Harry. I figured you would be back soon as well. How was your flight?"

Harry gave his charming smile to Kate, making Kasey look from him to her sister. There was no way he would be - "It was tiring. I had a lot to do."

Kate smiled. "Oh, right. Meet my sister, Kasey. And Kasey, this is Harry, my housemate, and best buddy," she introduced.

Wow! What game was fate trying to play here? Housemate? Her sister's best friend? "Wh..what!" Kasey exclaimed.

______

Kasey thought she must have heard wrong. That must be it. She wanted to hear that the guy followed him there and he should be thrown out of the house. "What did you say, Kate?" she asked with every ounce of seriousness she could gather.

Kate smiled and ignored her and faced Harry. "Ignore her, Harry. She can be so dramatic at times."

Harry smiled. That was true due to her reaction on the plane, but he decided to say nothing about it. "I would love to get to know you more, then. Later, Kasey. I'm going upstairs, Kate."

Would it be weird to say she loved the way her name sounded on his lips? She watched him stride inside the house as she pushed her dirty thoughts off her mind. But wait, what kind of a place like this? Why would he enter her sister's house to go to his own?

Or should she blame her sister for not renting the whole building?

"I am going to the grocery store. Get yourself settled before I get back. If you need anything, you can ask Harry; he knows my house very well," her sister told her.

Angrily, she carried her bag after watching her sister leave and went back into the house.

A few hours after getting settled in the room and unpacking her bags, she showered in the adjoined bathroom. She had taken off her clothes and was in her panties and brassiere when the door burst open.

"Kate, can you please - Holy fuck! I am so sorry," Harry shouted and rushed outside the room.

"Fuck you!" Kasey screamed as she threw the object her hand could reach him. It was her handbag, but too bad, it could only hit the door and have her stuff scattered on the floor.

She covered herself with a towel and rushed outside the room. Now, she was going to give him a piece of her mind.

Before she could say a word, Harry started apologizing. "I am very sorry, Kasey. I didn't mean to -"

"You're an asshole; you know that, right? You're a fucking asshole. You want me to believe you never intended to see me naked, you rotten liar?"

Harry shook his head. "Kasey, listen. I was looking for your sister. This is her room or was, I don't know. I didn't know you were there. I thought you would be in her guest room and -"

"Shut up, Karry, or whatever your name is. You knew that my sister was not around. You knew I was the only one at home, you piece of shit. I hate you."

"I swear, believe me when I tell you I never knew she was out. And you don't have to insult me like that. Besides, I saw nothing special ...."

Her eyes widened. "What! No..nothing special? You know what? This won't do. Come here," she said and held his hand.

"Come where? Where are you dragging me? Wait, your room?"

She dragged him inside and locked the door from behind.

"Why did you lock the door? What are you doing?"

"Undress. Now."

It was Harry's turn to be shocked. Was she joking? "What? That's absurd. I saw nothing. Well, I - Come on, don't do this," he pleaded.

"Look, don't think I am doing this because I want to or because it's fun. It's payback time. I don't like you." That was a lie. The payback would let her see what she had been yearning to see on the plane.

"I don't like you either, but-"

"Liar," she said and got closer to him. "Undress yourself, or should I help you. I don't mind."

Harry sighed. What kind of woman was she not to let go of something like that? "Stop this. Are you insane? This is crazy. What kind of a woman are you?"

"What kind of a man are you barging into a lady's room without knocking? You pervert -" she said and brought her hands to his trousers, unbuckling his belt while he tried to stop her.

"Kasey, stop. You can't do this - We – gosh!" He fell on his back, but that did not stop her. She got on top of him and straddled him. "Just be honest with yourself, Kasey. You are only trying to seduce me. I actually wouldn't mind if you weren't my best friend's sister," he uttered, making her stop abruptly.

She was quiet for a while, trying to figure out if she had heard wrong. She tended to do that whenever she couldn't believe what was going on. Suddenly, she started laughing. "You're crazy. Seduce you? Excuse me, sir, you are not my type, and never are you gon' be. Touching you doesn't even turn me on."

"Even when you're touching there?" He shifted his eyes from where her hands were to her eyes.

"What? Touching where?" She had no idea what he was talking about, but when he made the facial gesture again, she looked at her hands and fuck, they were in his center. "Fuck!" She jumped to her feet, and Harry rose.

He started walking towards her, making her take steps back till she was against the door. "Now that you have turned me on, you should take responsibility," he breathed to her ear and used his nose to rub her cheeks seductively.

That little action woke every dead libido in Kasey despite her protest. She wanted them to sleep forever and never wake up, but they had just betrayed her. Her breathing started becoming faster by the second, and she found herself enjoying the touch of his nose on her neck.

"You started this, and I begged you to stop. Now, it will be your turn to do the same. Did you know?" he said as he brought his hands to her towel, then let it fall to the ground. "You're the first lady ever to tell me that I don't turn you on. I need to confirm that," he cooed as one of his hands found her butt cheeks.

"Ka..try.."

His other hand went to her neck, tilting her head up as he swiped his nose over hers tentatively. "No. My name is Harry. But Karry isn't bad; it sounds like Kasey and Harry to me. Now, let's get you turned on."

Kasey put her arms around his neck against her wish and pressed herself closer to him. "Harry, I ...ow!" she moaned as she felt his fingers in her.

"You're wet," he said audibly and stepped back. He looked at her and smiled.

When she opened her eyes and saw his grin, she immediately felt embarrassed. What did he just do? It shouldn't be what she was thinking right now. "Harr..y," she called with a broken voice. She was still burning with desire, and her breathing was still ragged.

Harry shook his head. "I don't like people telling me I don't turn them on. When you said so, I had to confirm and see; you're so wrong."

"What! You just..used me?" She was almost in tears; she was even ashamed to pick up her towel and cover herself up.

"Come on, that shouldn't be a big deal. We don't like each other. That was just for confirmation. You enjoyed it, didn't you?"

"What?" Kasey chorused with her sister, who barged in and slapped him.
