Chapter 1 My first Day in Hell

High. My name is Sapphire Demonstone. I know strange name right. I can't help it or even legally change it . It's the name my birth parents gave me . And it was the one and only demand that my name was never to be changed, not even when I became of a legal age to do so , and not even when I get married. I would like to think it may be so that they can find me again one day. But that's a whole nother issue.

So ,have you ever woke up and felt like everything that was happening had to be dream , only to find yourself wide awake. Well that is how my morning began. It all started as soon as I opened my eyes . I couldn't see anything except total darkness, and just a sliver of a reddish ethereal looking light. I don't know how but

it looked as though it was suspended in mid air .Everything began to come into focus once the sliver started growing until that reddish ethereal looking light was so bright that I had to shade my eyes I also felt a slight warm breeze on my face. As everything suddenly stopped moving as if time was at a standstill . That's when Alexander Morton came slowly floating toward me. It was as if his feet were not even touching the concrete floor , but how could that be it's not possible. Unless you are a demon from Hell that is. When he stopped only inches in front of me .I could see his feet were indeed not touching the floor. I thought to my self ok and out loud that I must be loosing my mind because he not only floated but as I looked more thoroughly at his features I saw he had black slitted eyes, razor teeth and talons on the end of his fingers .his head still had luscious curly brown hair, but his face had a grin that would give Stephen King nightmares. I didn't what else to do so I did the only thing I could think of and that was to get the hell away from this maniac so I ran to the only place I could right into hell. As I crossed over the threshold I knew without a doubt this is where I was born. I felt like I was finally home .At that moment I turned to face my would be captor with a smile of my own , wiping his right off his face. Now sporting a crease between his eyes and a look that which resembled shock he asked me what my name was so I casually shrugged my right shoulder and said Sapphire Demonstone. He actually screeched like a little girl and started babbling incoherently. My father Lucifer Demonstone with my mother Lilith Demonstone at his side popped in to welcome me home. I can't believe I actually in the presence of real live supernatural beings ,not only that I happen to be one myself. It was amazing I had no clue that demons actually existed . I wonder what other paranormal or supernatural being really exist as well. I don't know but I can't wait to find out.

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.
