Chapter 1 1.01 The Beginning Of The Error

It was the beginning of October, I was on my way from the big city, life there was extravaganza who knew I had to move after a long stay in this busy city. My dad had just got a ticket abroad for work that we didn't know except him and my mama for they were seen quarreling for a short while then they sold our big house and forced us to move to the village, I wasn't happy with this but what can I say, am just the second born and a girl whose opinion was never taken seriously. But whatever it was it made us relocate to the village.

The journey to the village was not so pleasant to me at first, I had to puke at different stops. My mother and siblings were all excited about the relocation. The cold breeze went through my hair and on my face, at first, it was annoying until I saw my younger brother enjoying it, from there the journey started to be more fantastic, who knew, I would be so excited seeing the trees moving behind us and waving at us. The journey became more and more excited that I fell asleep while my mother gave my firstborn brother the wheel.

As I opened my eyes, I saw the gates of heaven open. It was a nice compound with beautiful flowers planted in an eye-pleasing way, who in this world cannot dream to be in a place like that? The joy in my brother's eye gave me happiness and made me give the place a second chance. The house was gigantic and elegant, this made me rush into the house and assign myself a room that gives me a direct view of the road and the green pasteurized environment. Was this the place that will change my life? This question ran through my mind while I stood at the wide window of the room I had said it will be mine.

"Hey!, mom, I want my room to be pink please" I turned and asked my mother who was talking to the village boys behind me after they had asked to help us park to arrange the house " You can do as you are pleased, it's your choice." For me, those were the nicest words she has ever said to me and the only choice she gave me. I took the saving that I had and asked one of the boys to find me a painter, but what can we say? The boy was a paint expert and offered himself to paint for me and in return, we be friends, yeah only friends.

The painter, that's what I called him for he helped paint my room but he always insist that I call him Kelvin. He was a sweet and humble guy, he was full of advice that can change someone's life. For sure he had abs and a nice chin that made every girl in the village fall for him, who could blame them for he was so handsome that you couldn't resist his charm, but to me, he was my friend and I was lucky for that.

Who knew that in this new village blending in was like mixing water with water you won't tell the difference. Kelvin became more than a friend to us that my mother gave his mother nannies work in our house, this meant that Kelvin who had a single parent, and his sister will be living with us. I knew that this meant that a stone will change in my life, let's see, you live with a hot guy in the same room, should you make the first move or allow him to make it? These were the questions that were running through my mind while I watched Kelvin's family moving in, and I did not hear my older brother entering the room. "mmhm.... so you are attracted to the boy?" I turned around and gave out the best answer I had "Yes.... ah no! no! no! am not," I think it was not the best answer that I had, "my little sister, me! I know you more than I know the fingertips of mine."

"You're a creepy bastard." His eyes smolder me and his answering grin is nothing short of beautiful. Deadly. "Yet you hunger for me. Tell me, this appetite of yours, does it always tend toward 'creepy bastards'?" **** Widower and ex-boss to the Mafia, Zefiro Della Rocca, has an unhealthy fixation on the woman nextdoor. It began as a coincidence, growing into mere curiosity, and soon, it was an itch he couldn't ignore, like a quick fix of crack for an addict. He didn't know her name, but he knew every inch of her skin, how it flushed when she climaxed, her favourite novel and that every night she contemplated suicide. He didn't want to care, despising his rapt fascination of the woman. She was in love with her abusive husband. She was married, bound by a contract to the Bratva's hitman. She was off-limits. But when Zefiro wanted something, it was with an intensity that bordered on madness. He obsessed, possessed, owned. There'd be bloodshed if he touched her, but the sight of blood always did fascinate him. * When Susanna flees from her husband, she stumbles right into the arms of her devilishly handsome neighbour with a brooding glare. He couldn't stand her, but she needed him, if she was ever going to escape her husband who now wanted her dead. Better the devil you know than the angel you don't. She should have recalled that before hopping into Zefiro's car and letting him whisk her away to Italy. Maybe then, she wouldn't have started an affair with him. He was the only man who touched her right, and the crazy man took no small pains in ensuring he would be the last.
