HE WAS ONCE A MORTAL MAGE WHO ATTAINED GODHOOD IN MAGIC AND WAS NAMED AS A COSMIC SINGULARITY. NOW HE GOT REINCARNATED AS A SIDE CHARECTER IN A MEDIVEL FANTASY NOVEL.

Chapter 1 CHPTER 1

Edith opened his eyes to view an unfamiliar yet oddly familiar celling. His body hurts and head feels heavy. He looked around a modest room with a study table in one corner, a huge brown curtain, which made it impossible to determine the time, a small cupboard with an attached mirror and the small bed he was sleeping.

"Where am I?"

A surge of memories flashed through his eyes. Memories of the previous owner of his current body. He ran towards the mirror, his heart racing with anxiety.

"I, the most powerful magus, the first mortal who ascended to godhood, who broke the laws of heaven, who's titled as the singularity of all creation, gets reincarnated and I still look like FUCKING GIRL!, STILL THE SAME NAME, EDITH. REALLY?"

He examined himself in the mirror, long black hair with a few dreadlocks. Jet-black eyes shining like a diamond, his soft-fragile beauty.

"WHY, THE FUCK IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?"

"OI, why are you shouting so early in the morning?" asked a quavering voice. A tiny figure floated beside Edith's head. A woman with white hair and red eyes, dressed in black, rubbing her eyes.

"Eh?, did you turn over a new leaf and went modest or did we go bankrupt in one night? No, you are not the type to change for the better, it must be the latter."

"No!, why would you even think that?"

"Then what's up with this storeroom?"

"We died, and got reincarnated?"

Ivy looked at him for a few moments, trying to comprehend what he said. She was a being made completely out of magic. Her body alone could provide mana to an entire continent for at least a million years. Thanks to Edith's looks and high mana power, oddly drew her to him.

"Pftt... still an adorable, lovely, androgynous boy I see"

"Shut up, loli grandma"

"Heh, who you calling grandma, you pervert magnet, who almost lost his virginity to a bunch of drunk old perverts."

"Thud!"

"OW!, my head, that fucking hurts, you ass"

"Never bring that up, ever again"

"Yeah, yeah, where on earth are we, anyway?"

"Well, you remember the novel we read few days back, right?"

"Which one, you read at least 500 last week itself"

"Tch, the one where the MC, is loved by his father and mother, while his half-brother got left behind by his mother, who is the first child of the highly advanced empire, Bara, filled with jealousy he tries to kill the MC but got found out and later gets himself killed at the hands of the MC."

"AH, let me guess, you became the second brother"

"Yup"

"Man, your life is a mess, so what now then"

"Obviously, escape from this rat hole first"

"Did falling into the life and death river while being chased by the goddess of death mess your brain or something?"

"why?"

"With that weak body of yours, the moment you step out, someone would sell you to a brothel, or maybe worse."

"Right, old perverts are everywhere. I guess I should start with mana reconstruction."

Mana reconstruction was a spell created by Edith, whose primary function was to strengthen one's bones, muscles, and cleanse the marrow by absorbing mana around him. This was one of the reason he got the nickname Singular God of Magic. His ability to create any spells which can violate the laws of nature and use any spells made even the gods wary of him.

Two minutes pass had passed since he started absorbing the energy.

"HAHA!, this body is a mana body!"

"Mana body?"

"Yeah, everybody is born with a fixed capacitance for mana. An average person has up-to 100L, while a prodigy's reaches up to 10,000 or more. It might vary from species to species, but everyone has a limit, a fixed limit, a wall that must never be crossed if you don't one to die in the most gruesome way possible, except for a person with mana body, they don't have a limit, the hero who saved the continent in our previous world or an apostle send by the gods, they all had mana body. A body with a limitless potential and unpredictable faith. Even I can't tell my future.

"And... this is good, right"

"Good? I can use my full power within a week? Using this body, our tale is going to be scarier than the previous one. Isn't that exhilarating?"

"Can't we just live a slice of life?"

"HA!, slice of life for the one who made three cosmic law breaking spells. Did you lose your mind while reincarnating?"

For the first time in his life, Edith was sensing a new emotion, excitement.

My world revolved around Jax Harding, my older brother's captivating rockstar friend. From sixteen, I adored him; at eighteen, I clung to his casual promise: "When you're 22, maybe I'll settle down." That offhand comment became my life's beacon, guiding every choice, meticulously planning my twenty-second birthday as our destiny. But on that pivotal day in a Lower East Side bar, clutching my gift, my dream exploded. I overheard Jax' s cold voice: "Can't believe Savvy's showing up. She' s still hung up on that stupid thing I said." Then the crushing plot: "We' re gonna tell Savvy I' m engaged to Chloe, maybe even hint she' s pregnant. That should scare her off." My gift, my future, slipped from my numb fingers. I fled into the cold New York rain, devastated by betrayal. Later, Jax introduced Chloe as his "fiancée" while his bandmates mocked my "adorable crush"-he did nothing. As an art installation fell, he saved Chloe, abandoning me to severe injury. In the hospital, he came for "damage control," then shockingly shoved me into a fountain, leaving me to bleed, calling me a "jealous psycho." How could the man I loved, who once saved me, become this cruel and publicly humiliate me? Why was my devotion seen as an annoyance to be brutally extinguished with lies and assault? Was I just a problem, my loyalty met with hatred? I would not be his victim. Injured and betrayed, I made an unshakeable vow: I was done. I blocked his number and everyone connected to him, severing ties. This was not an escape; this was my rebirth. Florence awaited, a new life on my terms, unburdened by broken promises.
