Chapter 1 It only hurts when...

This story is based on the song it only hurts by Default.

It will go through every tragedy that occurs between Alaina and Elijah and there constant battle with their feelings towards one another and the hurt and pain she feels being with him.

This is an over 18's novel so there will be a lot of sex scenes , violence, rape, emotional and physical bullying. I in no way condone any of this it is purely fictional.

When your eyes are open

Alaina walked towards the office where Elijah worked; she hated this place; she only agreed to become his P.A. Because she'd worked alongside him during the two years at college, after her parents tragic death of her parents and he'd offered her a job and a place to stay. Little did she know it would never end her suffering. She'd been dealing with anxiety and depression since that god awful day, she was regretting her decision to become his wife. She didn't want him nor did she want to be married to that obnoxious asshole. He'd treated her like shit since she'd agreed to it. She so desperately wanted to get away, get away from him, get away from everything. She had no life, no friends, nothing but him, the evil human being that was her boss and her husband. She knew he had no feelings for her, so why was he keeping her around?

She walked to his office with the folders he had asked for she knocked but nothing so she decided to enter he always told her if he didn't answer he wasn't there so just to drop off whatever it was and he'd see to it when he returned, but today was different today felt off any other time he wouldn't be in his office and she'd just drop whatever in his desk and leave. Not today he was grunting and the sounds of a woman who he'd bent over the desk was moaning as he continued to take her from behind.

Alaina stood frozen with her mouth agape she knew the ass hole had no feelings towards her but it still hurt. She dropped the files and ran out of there. She slammed the ladies bathroom door shut, the tears kept coming and there was nothing she could do about it why? Why me? She thought out loud if it wasn't bad enough to share a bed with the devil himself she had to deal with the amount of women he would screw before her. She'd had enough this time, she was leaving this time there was no if no buts she was leaving, she owed him nothing nothing at all. She was done with this life she was almost nineteen and she'd missed it so much since he'd came into her life and made it a living hell.

Lies get tossed and truth is spoken

'Alaina where are you?'

No answer.'

'Alaina come out, we need to talk.'

Nothing where the fuck was she? She'd left work early he knew because the files he'd asked for were stawn all across the floor of his office, fuck, she must've came when I was busy fucking Amanda. Though she knows the score I should've locked the fucking door. This was an arranged marriage she knows she means nothing to me, she may be a good screw after a hard day's work, but that is all. I did this as a favour to her so she could have a roof over her head after her parents died. She was a good P.A. And that was the only reason I kept her around. Everyone thinks I'm an ass hole for treating her the way I do, they are right she doesn't deserve any of this, she needs people her I own age around her that's why I was going to enroll her in university for four years. I know she doesn't want to be my P.A. Forever so I thought I'd surprise her, that went tits up. I should never have invited Amanda into my office she's a fucking whore and she hates Alaina with a passion.

'Alaina!' Where the fuck is she? 'Alaina where are you honey ?' I could heard sniffling had she been crying, fuck. 'Alaina.'

'Leave me alone.'

'Where are you sweetheart. We need to talk.'

'No we don't you made it quite clear from the beginning I was nothing to you leave me the fuck alone.'

I opened the bedroom door. 'We need to talk Alaina.'

'No we don't you have no feelings for me Elijah today proved it. Just go back to your who're I'm done.'

'It wasn't what it looked like babe.'

'Don't babe me Elijah. I saw it with my own eyes. My own fucking eyes Elijah. We're done.'

'You don't mean that.'

'I do. I want a divorce.'

I walked up to her, lifting her chin in the palm of my hand. 'Not happening.'

'Yes it is. I've had enough of this life. It's pure torture Elijah, you said it yourself I'm just here to fill the gaps in. The ones your whores can't. I'm sick of coming last, I'm sick of the way you treat me. I should never have agreed to the stupid marriage. I'm leaving, you can have all the whores you like and I won't even get in the way cause I won't be here.'

The Truth About His Mistress

The Truth About His Mistress

Gavin
4.7

I was four months pregnant, a photographer excited for our future, attending a sophisticated baby brunch. Then I saw him, my husband Michael, with another woman, and a newborn introduced as "his son." My world shattered as a torrent of betrayal washed over me, magnified by Michael's dismissive claim I was "just being emotional." His mistress, Serena, taunted me, revealing Michael had discussed my pregnancy complications with her, then slapped me, causing a terrifying cramp. Michael sided with her, publicly shaming me, demanding I leave "their" party, as a society blog already paraded them as a "picture-perfect family." He fully expected me to return, to accept his double life, telling his friends I was "dramatic" but would "always come back." The audacity, the calculated cruelty of his deception, and Serena's chilling malice, fueled a cold, hard rage I barely recognized. How could I have been so blind, so trusting of the man who gaslighted me for months while building a second family? But on the plush carpet of that lawyer's office, as he turned his back on me, a new, unbreakable resolve solidified. They thought I was broken, disposable, easily manipulated – a "reasonable" wife who would accept a sham separation. They had no idea my calm acceptance was not surrender; it was strategy, a quiet promise to dismantle everything he held dear. I would not be handled; I would not understand; I would end this, and make sure their perfect family charade crumbled into dust.
