In a small town known as Demonville, the three species are on an occasional brawl with each other. Inoder to prevent the common wars, the town council created a paranormal police service to always Kindle the ongoing wars, the paranormal police are supernaturals themselves from the three species who swore to protect the town.

When a werewolf from a pack on the east side of the town got possessed by a demon, and almost wiped half the town, he was captured by the paranormal police and jailed.

During his stay in prison, he came to realize that during the next blood moon, the demon that had possessed him will completely take over his body making him to loose control over his own body.

Hence he escaped from jail to try and find someone to help him get rid of the demon inside him.

SNEAK PEAK

Leigh smacked an unyielding magical box that Keely had brought her.

"Come on" She grunted with frustration. The metallic box clinked with every punch coming across it.

Leigh was frustrated, her banter with her twin sister was now getting too far, this was yet another prank she had pulled on her, and a bad one on that note, she had kept all her savings inside the box and now she needed the money to buy a dress for the homecoming party at her school which was going to be the next day.

Balling her fist, she stormed out of her room and walked straight to Keelys room. She didn't mind knocking and immediately barged in, Keeley didn't seem to like the lack of etiquette.

"This is not a toilet leigh." Keeley said rolling her eyes while typing something on her phone, she rolled on the bed and gazed at her sister quizingly.

Leigh glared at her. "What did you do to the box you gave me as a birthday gift?"

"Ooh that?" Keeley smiled.

"Is that why you barged in like that?". She asked.

"Of course not" Leigh groaned. "I came to read late night story for you. What else could bring me here?" Leigh half yelled.

Keeley face suddenly lighted up and she stood pacing towards Leigh. "Now that, was payback dear sister, do you remember what you did to me last semester?". She whispered on Leigh's ears

Leigh sighed heavily. "That was two months ago."

"Did you forget what you did." She paused. "You ruined my date with Russel. He hates me now because of you idiot."

"Russel was dangerous to you, he is a werewolf, I wanted to protect you."

"I can protect myself Leigh, you are not the only one with magic, so stop getting over yourself." Keeley mumbled slowly. She jumped back on her bed and continued chatting.

Leigh breathed in deeply closing her eyes sharply, she knew that when Keeley made her mind about something, persuading her out of it could be as hard as breaking a coconut shell using a spoon.

She left keeleys room and returned to her own room.

***

She had now spent nearly all afternoon trying to break the spell box, using all type of magic but it was futile. It was only keeley that knew the type of spell she had used to lock the box.

Her phone started ringing and she picked it up quickly, it was Bonnie on the caller ID. She slided the receiver and placed it on her ear."Bonnie" she whispered with frustration.

"Hey, what's wrong, why do you sound pissed off." Bonnie asked

"Its keeley"

Bonnie chuckled making Leigh to groan while rolling her eyes. "What did she do this time" Bonnie asked.

"She pulled the worst prank of the century at the wrong time."

"Let me guess, she made mushrooms grow at your feet?"

Leigh chuckled. "Why would she do that."

"Because I know how you love your feet?" Bonnie replied with amusement.

"No, it's not that."

"what did she do" Bonnie asked attentively her tone laced with curiosity.

"She casted a locking spell on my saving box." Leigh stated codly while smacking her forehead.

"Ooh, what did you want to do with the money?"

"I wanted a new dress, Liam gave me a date, I can't embarrass myself, all our clothes are brought by my mum and you know how she always makes us wear."

"Did she know about the date?"

"I don't know."

"Cant you talk her out of it?"

Leigh groaned for the hundredth time"Keeley is a pain in the ass, once she makes a decision, she can not falter."

"Anyway, why did you called, I'm sure you didn't call to hear about the squabble between me and my twin." Leigh asked with curiosity.

"Yeah, that's right. There is something wrong that happened yestarnight"

"What is it?" Leigh asked quickly standing up, her heart beat rose and she begun pacing around.

"I heard that Theo Williams escaped from the D. P. P (Demonville paranormal police)" Bonnie replied.

Leigh was alarmed, she recognized the name quite well. Theo is a werewolf from the indigo pack which is located east of Demonville town, he is the elder brother to Russell and was going to take over as alpha after their father if it was not of what happened to him.

It reached a time that it was believed Theo got possessed by a demon, he went rogue and engaged in a killing sphree, the town council had to summon the D.P.P to stop him.

Leigh's body tensed on the revelation. "How did you know?" She asked impatiently.

"The whole town is on the radar, I heard that the school board decided to cancel the homecoming party, it's not safe with Theo on the loose" Bonnie replied.

Leigh sighed, atleast she wasn't going to look like a fool on Liam's eyes. "Did you hear anything spooky after his breakout?"

"No" Bonnie replied.

Leigh knew it was a matter of time before something bad could happen, it was the norm of Demonville, being the home to three supernatural species. One time it would be the Vampires causing chaos the next time it would be the werewolves. Her coven, was the only thing that stood between the humans in Demonville from going extinct from the occasional squabble between the werewolves and the Vampires.

Leigh heard her mother calling her for dinner downstairs. "Ill have to go Bonnie, I can smell roast chicken calling me."

Bonnie giggled."Okay miss, I'll talk to you later."

"Bye" Leigh whispered.

"Bye" Bonnie replied before hanging up.

**********

The D. P. P had put a curfew on the town now inoder to catch Theo easily. The residents of Demonville were advised to stay indoors in numbers mostly the humans, Theo was a powerful Lycan and defeating him judging from the fact that he is rogue is almost like trying to fetch water using a net.

Leigh took a spell book from her shelves and sat on her bed and begun reading, as she tried to memorize the spells, her grandmothers words came to her head.

'In our coven, firstborns have high responsibility than anyone else in the coven, the firstborns were CHOOSEN to maintain balance whenever it was needed." Leigh smiled. Before she died, her grandmother was her best ally, she had taught her different type of spell that made her become the top teenage witch on their coven. She had added.

'In every blood moon, the firstborns in every house around the covens are blessed with immense power by the ancestors, the powers should only be used to help the vulnerable, there was consquences if anyone decided to use their power wrongly.'

Leigh closed the spell book and returned it to her closet, she knew if the time came and she got the power that her late grandma had said, she was never going to use it wrongly. She hated the vampires and the werewolves and swore to protect the humans against them, it was the reason she had ruined Keeley date with Russel, she didn't want her sisters life to be in danger when the two predatory species decided to tear each other limbs as they usually do.

She was about to go to bed when something hitted her window, she stood safe and listened. For a few moments, nothing happened, but when she was about to climb to bed. A hand appeared on her window with blood covering it, the face of a man appeared and pleaded for help.

"Help me" the man said before collapsing out of her window. Without thinking, she raced out towards their backyard, the man was lying on his stomach and was bleeding, he turned him to see his face and froze on the spot. It was Theo, he had several bullet wounds which were not healing. She observed the wounds and realized why they were not healing. The bullets were made of silver and the wounds were emmitting a blueish mist.

Theo suddenly moved slightly and opened his eyes. "Help me?" he stated again lifting his right hand before collapsing again on the ground passing out.

Rain hammered against the asphalt as my sedan spun violently into the guardrail on the I-95. Blood trickled down my temple, stinging my eyes, while the rhythmic slap of the windshield wipers mocked my panic. Trembling, I dialed my husband, Clive. His executive assistant answered instead, his voice professional and utterly cold. "Mr. Wilson says to stop the theatrics. He said, and I quote, 'Hang up. Tell her I don’t have time for her emotional blackmail tonight.'" The line went dead while I was still trapped in the wreckage. At the hospital, I watched the news footage of Clive wrapping his jacket around his "fragile" ex-girlfriend, Angelena, shielding her from the storm I was currently bleeding in. When I returned to our penthouse, I found a prenatal ultrasound in his suit pocket, dated the day he claimed to be on a business trip. Instead of an apology, Clive met me with a sneer. He told me I was nothing but an "expensive decoration" his father bought to make him look stable. He froze my bank accounts and cut off my cards, waiting for the hunger to drive me back to his feet. I stared at the man I had loved for four years, realizing he didn't just want a wife; he wanted a prop he could switch off. He thought he could starve me into submission while he played father to another woman's child. But Clive forgot one thing. Before I was his trophy wife, I was Starfall—the legendary voice actress who vanished at the height of her fame. "I'm not jealous, Clive. I'm done." I grabbed my old microphone and walked out. I’m not just leaving him; I’m taking the lead role in the biggest saga in Hollywood—the one Angelena is desperate for. This time, the "decoration" is going to burn his world down.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.
