Yes, I'm Straight. But What Have I Done Wrong?

Being straight and a supporting role was tragic. This supporting-straight guy had two friends, one coquettish and the other domineering. Back in high school, his two brothers were in love. In order to avoid being caught, they always took Straight Guy out for a date in disguise.

At that time, Straight Guy did not know his two brothers fell in love. He just felt strange; for instance, watching an unpopular movie, they chose three seats like this: in the sparsely seated screening room, two adjacent seats were in the last row and one solitary in the middle row.

The three boys lived in one dormitory. On every weekend, Coquettish Guy somehow did not want to get out from the bed for some 'unknown' reason and was too lazy (exhausted) to eat breakfast. Domineering Guy would always persuade him that it was bad for health and he would go to the dining room to bring whatever the Coquettish Guy liked.

Straight Guy thought secretly, "What a surprise that my roommate offers to go to the dining room! I can also ask him to bring my meal back." Then shyly, he asked the roommate to bring fried rice for him.

However, Coquettish Guy coldly refused the Domineering Guy's kindness and expressed that he would order the take-out of Korean Food near school. When Domineering Guy heard this, he said to Coquettish Guy that this wouldn't work out as during lunchtime, it would take at least 40 minutes for the take-out to arrive and he would ride a bike to buy the lunch in person.

Straight Guy helplessly witnessed his domineering roommate complete a series of actions, from wearing overcoat, taking the wallet to grabbing the key within three seconds and then launched himself out.

"My...fried...rice..." the weak calling of Straight Guy died away in the wind. After three seconds, he got out from the bed and went to the dining room.

This day, Straight Guy went back to the dormitory and saw Coquettish Guy and Domineering Guy reading a book cheek by jowl. At the time, Straight Guy was confused by their behaviors, therefore he asked them why they sat so closely. Domineering Guy paused, and pointed to the small fan on Coquettish Guy's desk, explaining, "My fan doesn't work, so we have to share one."

"Oh! That makes sense. But wouldn't you feel uncomfortable sitting so closely?" The Straight Guy smiled immediately and took his big fan brought by his parents out of the cabinet enthusiastically, saying cheerfully, "Let's use my fan together! You don't need to sit so close to share the little one!"

Domineering Guy twitched the corner of his mouth.

For a very long time Straight Guy did not understand why his good-quality fan that his parents specially bought for him would break down so quickly and frequently in the dormitory, and dormitory alone. His roommates had to sit closely to use one small fan again. He really wanted to help them, why....

Coquettish Guy was grumpy in the morning. This day, he was almost late for class yet he still sat on the bedside, confused and a little bit angry. Quite surprisingly, Domineering Guy demonstrated a good temper rarely seen, helping the Coquettish Guy into his coat.

When Straight Guy saw this, he was confused, "What! What! Why did you help him wear clothes?"

His words silenced the whole room. Coquettish Guy was not a bit nervous and slowly glanced at Domineering Guy instead, his eyes full of implication. Domineering Guy paused for half a second, "I'm on duty today, and I'm much willing to serve everyone."

Straight Guy was amused. Thrusting his overcoat into the hands of Domineering Guy, he said, "OK! OK! Give you a chance." Then his head was precisely covered with the overcoat thrown back by Domineering Guy.

Straight Guy occupied a seat in the studying room, handily saving the seat next to him; however, the position beside the next seat was occupied by others. Only a slightly distant seat remained. Straight Guy had no choice but to occupy it.

He first saw Coquettish Guy came, calling him, "Over here." Coquettish Guy saw the three seats, smiled and sat beside Straight Guy after putting the backpack on the desk; moreover, he thanked Straight Guy in a good mood.

When Domineering Guy came, finding that he could not sit next to Coquettish Guy, he walked sadly towards the last seat.

Soon after, Straight Guy received a message from Domineering Guy, "Bro, let's change seats. The air conditioner is blowing so hard. My rheumatism is back."

Straight Guy immediately agreed and secretly blamed himself for being such an inconsiderate friend who did not even realize his good friend suffered rheumatism at such a young age.

As all three guys had good academic performances, they promised to enter the same ideal university together. When Coquettish Guy and Domineering Guy made the deal, Straight Guy was at their side and he saw that even someone like Coquettish Guy blushed slightly with tears in eyes.

Putting his hand over that of Coquettish Guy's, Domineering Guy nodded earnestly, as if promising an extremely important thing.

As his two brothers were so emotional, Straight Guy was also moved, so promptly he placed his hand over theirs, declaring in a rather serious tone, "Yes! We must enter X university together."

Coquettish Guy and Domineering Guy turned their head at the same time and stared at him for three seconds with embarrassed yet polite smile.

Straight Guy and Domineering Guy always skipped self-study class to play basketball. As a boy, sweating a lot after playing basketball was unavoidable. Straight Guy did not mind it at all.

After playing basketball, it was just in time for normal quitting time. Straight Guy wiped perspiration with the corner of his shirt while fishing for his phone to call Coquettish Guy out for dinner.

However, he was stopped by Domineering Guy.

"Um...What's wrong?"

Domineering Guy frowned, "It's so embarrassing to meet him with such reek of sweat!"

Straight Guy patted Domineering Guy, "Hey, we are brothers. Never mind such trifles. You aren't meeting your girlfriend. Don't worry."

Domineering Guy had already run away before he could finish his words.

In twenty minutes, Straight Guy who ordered dishes ahead of time met Domineering Guy who took a shower and changed clean clothes, and Coquettish Guy who came after class. He looked at his brothers and smelled himself, thinking that he should have taken a shower in advance. Fuck! Compared with his brothers, he lived a coarse life.

There were only them three in the dormitory of high school.

Here was the thing. In fact, Domineering Guy and Coquettish Guy knew each other from childhood. Domineering Guy wanted to live alone with Coquettish Guy. However, at that time, before he confessed his wicked love to Coquettish Guy, his father sensed something unusual.

In order to deceive his father, Domineering Guy, after quite a while of ponderation, pointed to the name of Straight Guy on the name list and said to his father, "This guy is the top one in our class. He also looks nice. Let him live with us. Three in one room already makes me feel crowded. Leaving one bed vacant is not a waste. Papa, what do you think?"

Domineering Guy's father was a powerful man. Hearing what his son said, he felt his son was a good boy who loved study, therefore, he agreed the request, helping his son to live in a room of three. However, his father arranged his son and Coquettish Guy the two beds that were farthest in the dorm.

Domineering Guy agreed instantly, dispelling a bit of his father's suspicion.

The evening when they moved into the dormitory, Straight Guy saw Domineering Guy sleep on Coquettish Guy's bed, "Wow, why do you sleep with him? Don't you feel crowded?"

Domineering Guy, "My father forgot to bring me a quilt. I have to sleep with him." What a good reason! Even the innocent Coquettish Guy bought it.

Straight Guy roared with laughter, "Why didn't you say it earlier? My mom prepares an extra quilt for me. Here you are."

Therefore, Coquettish Guy kicked Domineering Guy out of bed.

Straight Guy's heart was full of joy. On the first day, he already helped his roommate. What a happy day!
