She just kept walking on,I tried to catch up with her but the more I tried to reach her,the further she seemed, gifting me with haunting thoughts,I know I can't blame her for walking away,as I didn't make any effort to make her stay.

The moment I thought I could get hold of her she stated to become a grey blur and she started to vanished out of my sight .

He frowned and suddenly anxiously,he sprand up in the bed

"Lauren"

Chris woke up,sweat damned his forehead,his heart was beating at a rapid rate.The same nightmare haunting him for the past 7 years.

He checked his time and it was 4:00am in the morning.Chris suddenly felt that the atmosphere inside the room was somewhat depressed,so he raised his hand and opened the window The morning breeze rustled through the trees and blew in through the open window.

Grazing through the clear pink morning sky a face flashed through his mind.His chest grew tight,his heart heavy, Everytime it throbbed,the pain he experience left him rooted to the spot

It's been seven years since the day he last saw her

"How can you be so heartless,you didn't even turn back" he thought to himself.

Little did he know,tears were streaming down his face ,and had already blurred his vision.

"I miss her "

"I miss her so much".

While he was still in a daze,knock

"Young master" the butler called out

He came back to his sense as he heard the butler knocking at his door.He quickly calm down and the mist in his eyes had been cleaned before he politely said .

"Come in"

"Good morning young master"the butler blurted out smiling "you're awake?"

Responding with a hmm

of acknowledgement,chris nodded he got up lifting the quilt.

Uncle Reid the butler was in his late 50's,after the death of his wife he never remarried again he believed his late wife was the only one who can pull his heart string.

Chris really admired uncle Reid's unconditional love for his late wife who died during their prime youth.

"I have already prepared your luggage,and the breakfast is also ready ,It's on the dinning table,come and have it".

"Hmm ok I'll be there in a minute" Chris nodded and entered the bathroom ,and washed himself.

Ten minutes later he headed downstairs for breakfast after he had changed into a set of clean cloths

Chris"Christopher Anderson " was only 27years old but he was the most powerful man in the X-city,owning the name of youngest_biggest business tycoon,he was not only young CEO of Anderson enterprises,but the secret boss of Larslight entertainment,Only a few upper management was on hold of him,even the employees were unaware of the identity of real boss.All the finals desccisions were made by him but he didn't like to be in limelight, that's what the reason all his light was given to his younger brother Jake Anderson.

Coming in the bad book of chris Anderson was the last thing people would want to do.

He was ruthless and cold to approach and had the power to destroy anyone with just a snap of a finger.

When he reached the dinning hall.The tables was decked with delicious foods,with great composure ,he started eating his breakfast.

The housekeeper ,rushed in said politely "young master the car is ready."

After he was done with his breakfast,he took his luggage and went toward a Lamborghini Veneno parked in the compound.

It was recently launched but for Chris owning it was nothing.

where the driver already opened the door of backseat and once the luggage was settled ,the driver started the car and moved on.
