#SON_OF_THUNDER. (2lives🌹2worlds) #prologue. Powerful rays flood over as the landscape lighten every blade of grasses,the cloud was as well dark with loud thunder striking the horizon as if fire itself is being poured from a blazing furnace. that midnight,in the kingdom of "somachi". Mother Adaolisa a fair ravishing beauty in her late 40's was sleeping on bed with her husband ikene. everything seems to be well for the couple except that they were poor and do not have a child to call their own.Adaolisa always get mocked NY the women in her kingdom because of her bareness.A woman without a child had to leave her husbands house if he is no more. a more powerful thunder struck, this time more powerful as a sensation of cold could be felt everywhere. Adaolisa woke up, she had just heard the cry of a baby. she woke her husband up and quickly turn on the local lantern. in a swift there were outside already. "Jesus!!!! eeeh!! chineke mooo!! (oh my goodness)" Adaolisa screamed as she approached a bush path. "Lisa be careful" ikene said to his beloved wife. "it's a baby,a new born baby see the placenta is there on the floor,blood everywhere"Adaolisa wept,the thing she has been looking for is what someone threw away like a cheap vegetable. "Carry him already"ikene said and adaolisa lifted the baby. the baby stopped crying when the comfort hands of Adaolisa touched him. "what's that,there's a box!! Ikene opened the box...lo and behold it contains gold,silver and several gem stones. ikene quickly close the box and shifted back.The couple look well,there was no paper no identity on the baby...just blood paths. the couple got scared. ikene carried the box and rushed back into his tattered house with his wife. "it's a boy,a cute one... ummm see his hair...ohh my god his skin"Adaolisa said in awe like she has never seen a baby. "umm I think we should report to igwe(king)...see the treasures" ikene suggested. Adaolisa turned at her husband in full surprise. "whatttttt?? "ogini kwanu(what is it sef) why are you so wicked, we should report to the king... no way! ikene I do not have a child, chukwuikike(my god who never fails) just blessed me with one.. this baby is a no go area, he is our son already"Adaolisa said as she looked at the boy dreamingly in full admiration. she used her finger to touch the baby, the baby wrapped his full band on her finger and didn't let go... A more powerful thunder struck, there was cold everywhere as an heavy rain started falling. Adaolisa smiled and stared at the boy.He was a different creature. Ikene also admired the boy... "umm my husband,this boy is too strong,he doesn't want to let go of my hand. As from today,he is my son and I shall call him Obi(heart). ⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰ same night,same kingdom,next village. King somadinna a very wicked and brutal king was seen moving to and fro between two huts in an heavy rain the expression on his face was very strong. the priest rushed out to check the weather conditions.Then he checked his palms. "A new king has been born today,the staff of offor and the incense staff just disappeared meaning the gods are with the boy" the priest said. king somadinna turned slightly, he hate to hear that a new king would be born.The most painful part is that he doesn't have a male child yet. the numerous wives he had gave him girls..his only hope is on his last wife who is in labor. the midwife rushed out smiling. "your highness,it's a boy"she bowed. king somadinna smiled."I am now a complete man". the midwife came out afterwards with a new born baby boy that was wrapped in a royal apparel. All the chiefs stood up. "Ebuka!!! the king called, a royal servant was seen rushing out.He bowed before the king. "I make it an order that every male child that is born today should be killed,no one shares date with my son"king somadinna said wickedly. "but my king--- "no buts.... "as your lordship pleases" the royal guard said and left. there was tension amidst the chiefs but no one dares talk. King somadinna finally touched his son,he looked so much like him and very handsome. "He is really handsome... and I shall call him Eze(king)". a smile plastered on his face as he said that.
