The Blind Princess is A Villainess
Romance
**PROLOGUE**
"They say the princess will be transferred to another island."
"Well, her skills are useless in this field."
"Right? I don't even know why she's still here."
"You know how it is, as long as there's a connection."
I just sighed at the noise I heard. Actually, I'm used to it; there's not a day when I'm not the topic.
But today is surprisingly weird. This is the first time I've heard that I will be transferred? Why am I the last to know?
I just shrugged and continued carrying some stuff for the lab. "Where have you been? Why are you just arriving now?" I looked at the person who spoke.
It was one of the healers with me in the lab, the head leader Cole.
"Oh, I went to get what we needed for the lab." I quickly replied, afraid to get him in a bad mood.
"The prince has been calling for you." My face lit up at the news. The prince? It's been a while. "Show some respect, go there quickly."
"O-Oh yes! Wait… is my appearance okay? Should I fix myself first? It's embarrassing—"
"Just go! You rarely get called, and yet you're so slow." He snapped at me, clearly irritated.
"And do you really need to pretty yourself up?" said his companion, who had been side-eyeing me earlier. Yeah, people here don't like me much, but as I said, I'm used to it.
I didn't answer and left. "Tsk. The prince didn't even have a choice; she's so prissy." Ah, I heard that.
Pretty myself up? I just want to look presentable in front of the prince, is that so wrong?
I just bowed my head. I should just get the dust off my dress. Why did the prince call for me? The last time he called me was two months ago.
Our interaction was so short. He just wanted a life update, but he doesn't talk much. I pretty much do all the talking.
As I walked towards the main room of the palace, I noticed something different. There were a lot of new items that weren't there before.
'The saintess needs this! She commented that the main hall looked sad.' I stopped in my tracks. The saintess, huh?
My eyes drooped, and I continued walking. The prince doesn't like such things. Even his sister can't force him to make the hall look lively, but the saintess can?
Although Prince Kaden manages this place, Prince Hellion always takes the lead in handling things.
“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY THAT? TRANSFER?! AND TO THAT PLACE?!” I was about to open the door when I heard a familiar shout.
“We don’t have a choice—”
“Choice my ass! Just because of that woman, you're going to replace Lady Mora!? Have you got no shame?!” I opened the large door and saw Aurora there.
She was clenching her teeth in anger. I also saw Princess Hellena, Prince Hellion, and a saintess I didn’t know.
“Look, the skill Lady Mora has is really not suitable for us. She can heal, but it’s slow, and we need to fight quickly in order to win,” Princess Hellena insisted.
“The lady has arrived,” announced the guard who seemed to have forgotten to open the door for me, so I just opened it myself. He was there, so why didn’t he open it?
They all looked at me, well except for the prince. “My Lady!” Aurora shouted, rushing over and hugging me. “Stop me, I might hit them.” She cried.
“Lady Mora, you’ve finally arrived,” Princess Hellena said softly. “Please don’t take our news the wrong way; we only want what’s best for the Hearthorn Empire.”
I suddenly felt cold at what I heard. The rumors were true? “Our engagement…”
I quickly looked at the person who spoke. Prince Hellion, my fiancé.
“Lady Morana Viole Fleur.” It was the first time I heard my full name from his lips.
“We will have to break our engagement.” Wh-what!? Wait—this isn’t the rumor I heard?! I thought I was just being transferred to another island?!
Why does it have to be our engagement?!
