Billionaire CEO, please don't play with my feelings
Romance
Mahi and Mihir were childhood sweethearts, their love solidified by an arranged marriage set by their grandparents. But years later, a rift has torn them apart. Mihir, scarred by his father's infidelity with a secretary, begins to see shadows where there are none. He sends a cold message to Mahi:
"Let's meet tomorrow to finalize the divorce. I promise you'll be taken care of, and I'll be fair with the alimony. But please, don't have any second thoughts. I've fallen in love with someone else-someone genuine, with a kind heart, unlike the ones who are only after money. I want a real relationship without any lies or hidden agendas weighing it down."
Reading the message, Mahi feels her knees weaken. Tears fill her eyes as she sinks to the ground. She whispers to herself, "How did it come to this? I loved him with all my heart." But she replies simply, "As you wish."
The next day, she waits in his lawyer's office, her back to the door, clutching the signed divorce papers. She hears steady, strong footsteps behind her. When the door opens, she turns around, and their eyes lock. For a moment, time stands still. Mihir's breath catches in his throat as his heart skips a beat. He suddenly feels the ground shift beneath him, his vision blurring.
In a voice barely above a whisper, he stammers, "Mahi..."
He grips the door frame for support, feeling the weight of his mistake crashing down on him. "I don't want a divorce," he blurts out, almost in panic. Without waiting for a reply, he turns and rushes out, leaving everyone in the room bewildered.
Mahi stares after him, her emotions a whirlwind. "What just happened?" she mutters to herself, still in shock. Confused murmurs fill the room, but she remains silent, lost in thought.
Meanwhile, Mihir drives furiously to a secluded spot, his mind racing. "How could I be so blind?" he thinks, gripping the steering wheel tightly. "The woman I thought I loved... it was Mahi all along. Oh God, what have I done? Should I be happy that the woman I love is my wife, or shattered that I've broken her heart into pieces?"
The question hangs heavy in the air. Will Mahi forgive Mihir for his cruel words and misguided suspicions? Can they find their way back to each other after all the pain? You might like
Married To The Arrogant CEO
SarahBlythe. "I want a divorce Noah", I said to him. My heart beating and knees weak. I was scared of how he would react.
'He should be happy right? I mean I am giving him a way out of the bondage of a marriage', I said to myself.
Noah expression darkened and I could see his jaw tighten. He stood up and took slow steady steps towards me with both hands in his pocket.
I immediately got scared and moved backwards.
Noah Wellesley isn't the abusive type but he hates me to the bone, I wasn't sure what he is capable of.
"Wh-what are you doing?", I asked, still moving backwards. Before approaching him for the request of divorce, I promised to be strong and not to let him intimidate me but... he is Noah Wellesley, the only man I have loved, and maybe still love.
"What did you say?", He growled and I flinched.
"I want to end this sham of a marriage, shouldn't you be happy?!", I suddenly found the courage to speak back.
"And what makes you think I would be happy if we divorce?", He uttered and my brows furrowed.
What did he mean by that?
I stopped moving and he soon caught up to me, his eyes dancing on my lips and I saw the hidden feelings in his eyes.
'Why is he like this?', I asked myself.
