Love Gambit: The Perilous Union of Fortune and Affection
Adventure In that year, Arianna married Ethan Thornwood, the Chairman of Thornwood Group, both carrying their own secrets, secretly forming an alliance under the guise of mutual benefits between their families.
With a contract binding them to have a child and two years of married life, they tied together the wealthy businessman and her. At the time, Ethan was 31 years old, while Arianna was 21. With a ten-year age difference, even before their marriage began, Arianna could guess the outcome, but she overlooked the process: in this game of "cat and mouse," neither she nor Ethan were the manipulators; it was the hearts teetering on the edge of matrimony.
Arianna: "Ethan is too complicated and dangerous. Be cautious in your dealings."
Ethan: "I might scheme against others, but I would never scheme against my wife."
To Ethan, he and she were acquaintances meeting again, but to Arianna, she and he were strangers meeting for the first time.
---
Ethan knew that there was a man living in Arianna's heart. Despite being separated by life and death, she still couldn't forget him. After their marriage, he had only one demand for her: "As long as I am your husband, you can never betray me."
But what if she did betray him?
If she did, then the extent of his heartache would be the measure of his fury.
---
At 21, Arianna had three identities: the heir to the Williams Group, a first-year student in business school, and Ethan's wife. Some revealed the truth about her: "Arianna is reclusive and cruel."
"Shut your dog mouth." Ethan's gaze sent shivers down the spine.
Arianna was like a devil, and Ethan had always known it, but some things could only be said by him, and no one else.
He often remembered Arianna from his childhood: innocent and beautiful, her smile like a flower.

At 31, Fu Hansheng, a business magnate, had a relationship full of uncertainties. He had been careful, but unexpectedly, he fell deeper step by step. After countless romantic pursuits, he fell for a wounded girl. Over the years when she was unaware of his existence, he went from being infatuated to being trapped beyond redemption.
It was like a calamity. Everything was fine, except she didn't love him.
---
Later, when faced with a wave of conspiracies and traps, the walls of trust between the couple collapsed.
Faced with his cruelty, she covered her heart and said to him, "It hurts here."
In that moment, he finally understood. When emotions reached a dead end, the person with deep emotional roots often remained the most silent. On the surface, they seemed indifferent, but inside, they had said "I love you" countless times.
She said, "Ethan, you gave me paradise, but you also gave me hell."
---
Later, on a certain day when the prosperity had faded, Ethan found the handwritten note Arianna had copied by hand.
【Embracing the bridge pier, I wait for you under a thousand ripples. When the water comes, I'll wait for you in the water; when fire comes, I'll wait for you in the ashes.】
Ethan said, "It's only now that I am certain, she had truly loved me deeply." You might like
Bound By A Dare, Rejected By The Alpha
Baby Kemo "You're going to take it, aren't you, little lamb?" Dominic's voice is low, teasing, dark. A hand grips my throat, just enough to make me gasp, make my pulse hammer beneath his fingertips.
Ashton is behind me, lips tracing the curve of my shoulder, his hands spreading me open. "Be good for us," he murmurs, his breath hot against my skin.
I whimper as Dominic's fingers slide between my thighs, teasing, parting, finding me already soaked. "Fuck," he groans, rubbing slow, torturous circles over my clit. "She's dripping. You feel that, Ash?"
Ashton's chuckle is warm against my ear. "She likes being between us."
A sharp smack lands on my ass, and I yelp, but the sting only makes the fire burn hotter.
"Tell us, pretty girl. Tell us how much you want it."
"Please," I gasp, my hips rolling, chasing their touch.
"Please, what?" Dominic demands, his fingers dipping lower, teasing my entrance but not giving me what I need.
Ashton's hands are spreading me wider now, his breath teasing the sensitive skin between my cheeks. I barely have a second to process it before his tongue flicks out, circling the tight ring of muscle.
I jolt, a strangled moan tearing from my throat. "Oh, fuck-"
"Relax," Ashton soothes, but there's nothing gentle about the way he holds me down, his grip firm as he licks deeper.
Dominic's fingers press inside me, curling just right, setting off sparks behind my eyes. "She's so fucking tight," he growls, watching my face as I shatter between them.
My body trembles, caught between pleasure so intense it borders on pain.
"Cum for us, little lamb," Dominic commands.

Mr. Ben Having some of the poems in the first edition of the poem collection, ‘The P.O.T (Poured Out Thoughts)’ published in several poetry magazines as High On Poems, Earthborne Magazine, Deadsnakes and so on, the author has ushered in the second, titled ‘The P.O.T (Poured Out Thoughts) ---The Reloaded.
It is said to be ‘reloaded’ because there are other poems to be added to make this edition slightly richer than the first. With poems as ‘Out of the Box’, ‘Dad Loves Me’, ‘Heralding God’s Magnificence’ being published in notable poetry journals and magazines, the sequel is hoped to make an impact to the entire world, beginning with the readers.
The Table of Contents has the additional poems that readers, who have read the first edition, would realize. They are intended to look into general issues, family, gender, parental, religious (Christian faith), children, love and personal/motivational.
The aim behind this piece is simple. As said in the first edition, it is about entertaining, enlightening, inspiring or motivating and enabling people think for themselves.
Worthy of Note: The author believes that subsequent edition(s) of the work would carry the above-stated aim.
His Innocent Obsession
Estelle Hayes Isla Hart has spent her entire life protected from the truth. Sheltered in the cold, opulent mansion her father built with wealth stained by secrets, she has never known the world outside the safety of her gilded cage. She's been raised in the comfort of ignorance-her innocence preserved like a precious gem, untouched by the horrors lurking just beneath the surface. But nothing lasts forever.
Her father, a man with debts deeper than anyone knows, has been in the claws of a dangerous criminal syndicate for years. And now, with everything collapsing around him, he makes an unthinkable decision to save himself: he will auction off his daughter's virginity to the highest bidder. The price of her body is nothing compared to the price of her father's survival.
At twenty-one, Isla is thrust into a world she never knew existed-one where power and corruption reign, and she is nothing more than a transaction, a pawn in a game she doesn't understand. An underground auction, hidden in the dark corners of New York's criminal elite, will determine her fate. But as the bidding begins, there's one man who stands out from the rest.
Vincenzo "Vince" Moretti is not like the others.
A mafia don who commands respect through bloodshed and fear, Vince is a man who has made his fortune off ruthlessness. At thirty-seven, he has built an empire that stretches across continents, feared by everyone who dares cross him. Cruel, cold, and indifferent, Vince has never allowed weakness to cloud his judgment. But when his eyes land on Isla, everything shifts. She is an innocent, untouched by the darkness of the world he controls. She's everything he shouldn't want, but something about her purity calls to him.
Vince outbids every man in the room, securing Isla as his own. She is no longer just a piece of property for sale-she is now his possession. A contract signed in blood, a life bound by the chains of obligation, desire, and power.
To Isla, the world as she knew it shatters. Her father's debts are wiped clean in exchange for her innocence, but in the cold, unyielding world of Vince's mafia empire, she is now nothing more than a beautiful hostage-trapped in a life of submission. But with Vince, things are different. He is cruel to everyone else, manipulative and tyrannical in his dealings. Yet, when it comes to Isla, there's a strange gentleness. A possessive tenderness. He keeps her close, under his watchful eye, as if she's a rare, delicate thing that no one else can touch.
But his protection comes at a price.
Vince will not let her go. He will mold her, shape her, and possess her in ways she never thought possible. With every passing day, the line between desire and control blurs. Vince isn't just taking her body-he wants her heart, her mind, her soul. And as the days turn to weeks, Isla finds herself torn between survival and submission. She is drawn to him in a way she cannot escape, yet terrified of what she's becoming.
But a storm is coming.
Luca Santoro-Vince's former ally, now his deadliest rival-has been waiting for a weakness. A crack in Vince's otherwise unbreakable armor. And he has found it in Isla.
Luca knows that Vince's obsession with Isla is his greatest vulnerability. He will stop at nothing to break her spirit and use her to bring Vince to his knees. His plan is simple: destroy Vince's empire by destroying Isla. Luca doesn't just want to own Isla-he wants to destroy what she means to Vince, and he will stop at nothing to make her his.
The clock is ticking.
As the tension between Vince and Luca escalates, Isla's world becomes even more dangerous. The mafia's brutal games are no longer just about loyalty and power-they're about survival. But the deeper Isla falls into Vince's world, the more she realizes that the man who controls everything around her is also controlling her heart. She cannot leave him, yet she knows that staying might cost her everything.
Is she willing to lose herself in a man who sees her as both a possession and a passion?
In a world where love and pain collide, Isla must decide if she can find freedom in submission or if her innocence will be the very thing that destroys her
