Kana was considered a burden to her uncle's family, which led to debts, and her uncle ended up dying. Kana was then forced to pay off those debts, but it turned out that her uncle had already used Kana as collateral for a loan to Ivander-one of the richest resort entrepreneurs in Europe and Asia. Ivander wanted to make Kana his contract wife as a shield against Jenni-his Ex-Fiancée. However, after they got married, Iola-Ivander's sister-disapproved of their marriage. She attempted to trap Kana, but Shein-Iola's fiancé-always defended Kana, which made Iola jealous. Then Jenni suddenly appeared and continuously incited Iola to hate Kana. Not only that, but Jenni also tried to set up Kana in a way that would force Ivander to divorce her, but Ivander trusted Kana more. Eventually, Jenni devised a grand plan. Iola was kidnapped while Kana and Iola decided to go on vacation together, with Jenni playing the role of a hero. Unfortunately, Jenni's evil plan was exposed due to Kana's quick thinking and Iola's testimony, resulting in Ivander throwing her in jail. Ivander then gave Kana a vacation gift. There, they opened up to each other, and seeds of love began to grow. Ivander even gifted Kana one of his resorts and provided her with initial training as a café manager. It turned out that the chef at the café was Alex-a long-time friend of Kana who secretly had feelings for her. Alex began to approach Kana, making Ivander jealous. Alex wanted Kana, but upon discovering that she was already married, he became increasingly obsessed. Alex was blinded by jealousy and pressured Kana to divorce Ivander. Kana was torn because, deep down, her heart didn't want to part from Ivander, even though it seemed inevitable. Kana was kidnapped by Alex for refusing to divorce Ivander. Ivander tried to rescue her, and they both expressed their feelings for each other. Ultimately, Kana was saved, and Alex was apprehended. Now, Kana became the owner of the resort and remained Ivander's wife under a more equitable marriage agreement.
