EXPOSITION Clio was the only child of her parents, and she was born with a sliver spoon,but with time,things began to change and the struggles hill her ground, her father got bankrupted with his business and things has not been easy for them since then. She began her life back to the slum, begging for the hospital bills of her mum after the death of her father because of the outstanding debt her father owe the bank. While she was trying to beg for the hospital bills, she entwined to her fates with a traumatic night which somehow cost her life and almost lead her astray. INCITING INCIDENT Clio is an 18-year-old still in the midst of figuring adulthood out. She lives a pampered life but never understood the implications of living in the world. So when her father, Ben Scott, dies suddenly, Clio is thrown into financial and emotional chaos. The life of blessing is shattered. Sarah, Clio's mother, becomes gravely ill during this time, and her emotional burden has thickened. Clio is confused and guilt-ridden. She believes her father's financial troubles caused her mother's illness; that adds to her sense of failure and responsibility. In the midst of all that turmoil, Clio finds herself at a bar, seeking distraction and maybe even brief escape from the heaviness of her life. Here she meets Lucas. Confident and brooding, Lucas has an attraction for Clio, yet he sees no more than just another woman to be conquered. He has no clue nor cares about Clio's turmoil, hence sees her just as a perfect target-to-hit-and-run-one-night stand. Lucas draws Clio (emotionally vulnerable and unsure of what she really needs), although her instincts tell her to be cautious. She is, at this moment, unsure of her self-worth and Lucas's charm makes her feel she wants to be desired, even if it means for one night. The night ends in a one-night stand, far from fulfilling for Clio. Instead, she feels used and terribly lost. The affection, having made her attached to the experience, leaves her scarred all the more deeply but, at last, with a clarity-her self-worth and desires for love and redemption become far more complicated as the emotional aftershocks of the night continue to ripple in her collapsed psyche. RISING ACTION Clio has just finished with her one-night stand; yet, through that, she begins to look back on how desperately she wants her mother to live and how devastated she is, having the burden of her father's mistakes on her own shoulders. Many nights by her mother's hospital bed are spent with her dilemma: to be strong or to nurse the ancient wounds left behind in her past. She now believes she is truly on her journey of self-discovery. She resolves that she will not only heal but heal herself, both physically and emotionally, but Lucas still scours her mind; his initial cruelty upon their first meeting continues to stick with her deeply. Of course, Lucas has his fair share of demons. He hides behind an arrogant, selfish mask. While Clio is just a fleeting conquest from his perspective, something pulls at him inside, something fearful; protectiveness begins to bloom from within him. Being a person used to getting whatever he wants, he is shocked that Clio refuses to fall for his charms. - Although he has always been a playboy, Lucas now begins to wonder if Clio is more than just a fling. But there continues to be that deep, festering doubt within the poor lad: toxic behaviors and fear of vulnerability undermine his most righteous inclinations. The couple has several uncomfortable yet explosive encounters at this point, arguing and confronting each other's differences. Clio resents Lucas for what he did to her, and Lucas begins to feel guilty for how he treated her. Juxtaposing anger and chemistry, sparks of their tension are also kindling the building of bonds. Inside Clio, the struggle between forgiveness and self-preservation comes to a boiling point, though it has an inner struggle of its own. She finally accepts that she will have to either give up Lucas completely or stand the possibility of a deeper relationship with him that could either heal her or tear her apart. CLIMAX After a series of wrong turns and miscalculated steps, Lucas realizes how painfully he has wounded Clio, and he attempts at all costs to make amends. He approaches her in true vulnerability with an apology that is heartfelt enough; he talks about how much he regretted all he ever did in an egotistical manner, never really aware of the hurt she felt. Clio's wounds cut quite deep, with no evidence to suggest that she would ever trust him anymore, and so the apology isn't a comforting one to her. The anguish between them was unbearable, but there was a glimmer of hope still shining in her eyes at him-a hope lit by the sincerity with which Lucas looked at her-and he pours out the reasons why he did what he did-how the abuses of his very own childhood have set emotional walls around his being and made him destroy

Redemption: Clio as a flawed protagonist she has a troubled past, having made mistakes and engaged in a hurtful behavior while longing for her mother recovery. This helps her to confront and make amendment for her troubled past. She was in her 18s trying to fix things out when he met Lucas. Lucas brutalized her sexually and this becomes her pains all over her life. But with all this circumstances .Clio work through this and find redemption. Forgiveness: Even when Lucas chanced her with a brutalized nail, she learn to forgive in a hard way, Lucas waved to the moon to beg Clio for another chance to make it up to her legally, though it was hard for Clio to believe, but forgiveness speaks underneath Clio's belly. Self-Discovery: Clio discovered herself even when it's hard for her, she discovered that life is hard for the less privilege, since she was born with silver spoon, when his father died, she discovered that earth is an hell full of suffering, if not for love, she would have lost her mind. Unexpected love voyage: Clio toil on an unexpected love voyage with Lucas, at first she was not expecting and has never even think, there will be chemistry between them, she never knew she will fall in love with Lucas, but he did and the rest was history.
