The Surrogate Contract: Nine Months to Betrayal
Romance Some contracts come with fine print. Some come with deadly secrets.
Maria Cole is 24, broke, and out of options. After losing her mother and drowning in medical bills, she signs a high-paying surrogacy deal that promises to solve all her problems. The rules are simple: carry the baby, no emotional ties, no questions asked. But there's one catch-she must live inside the billionaire's estate for nine months.
Paul Willow is a powerful tech billionaire with a cold stare and a hidden past. His wife, Vivienne, has been in a coma for a year after a strange accident, and the child Maria is carrying is supposed to be Vivienne's last chance to live on through blood.
Inside the mansion, nothing feels right. Maria hears things. Sees things. Doors are locked. Staff avoid eye contact. And Paul-quiet and distant at first-starts opening up in ways she didn't expect. He's broken, but something about him makes Maria want to stay.
Everything changes when a test reveals the truth: the baby isn't Vivienne's. And Maria should never have found out. What starts as a surrogacy job turns into a race for answers. Paul admits he's trying to destroy a hidden fertility network that's darker than anyone knows. And the child inside Maria might be the key.
Just as feelings begin to grow between them, Vivienne wakes up-and she remembers more than anyone expected.
Now, Maria must face a terrifying choice: walk away and protect her life, or stay and fight for a man who may not have told her the whole truth-and a child the world will kill to possess. You might like
Married To The Arrogant CEO
SarahBlythe. "I want a divorce Noah", I said to him. My heart beating and knees weak. I was scared of how he would react.
'He should be happy right? I mean I am giving him a way out of the bondage of a marriage', I said to myself.
Noah expression darkened and I could see his jaw tighten. He stood up and took slow steady steps towards me with both hands in his pocket.
I immediately got scared and moved backwards.
Noah Wellesley isn't the abusive type but he hates me to the bone, I wasn't sure what he is capable of.
"Wh-what are you doing?", I asked, still moving backwards. Before approaching him for the request of divorce, I promised to be strong and not to let him intimidate me but... he is Noah Wellesley, the only man I have loved, and maybe still love.
"What did you say?", He growled and I flinched.
"I want to end this sham of a marriage, shouldn't you be happy?!", I suddenly found the courage to speak back.
"And what makes you think I would be happy if we divorce?", He uttered and my brows furrowed.
What did he mean by that?
I stopped moving and he soon caught up to me, his eyes dancing on my lips and I saw the hidden feelings in his eyes.
'Why is he like this?', I asked myself.
