Jax had a wonderful life up until the day they lost his father and eldest brother. Beta Cornelius and Brayden sacrificed their lives for the pack and for Valerian. The Alpha was a family friend and had compassion on his family and Jax became the future Beta that day. Years later at the age of 17 he became the actual Beta when his best friend and future Alpha, Armand, stepped up to take the Alpha position. They both searched for their mates for 2 years before that fateful day when they came strolling into their lives. At the age of 19 Jax meets Valerian, once again, and is thrilled to find out they are mates. Valerian had saved his life years before that day, but Jax seemed to forget that Valerian was not human. Will he remember that Valerian is a shifter as well or will Valerian keep it from him? In a world where the male shifters can procreate if they are mated to the same sex, what will happen to these two mates?
