The young Master's little prey

Romance

What kind of father would do this to his daughter? Judy hid at the back of one of the big trees in the forest, her body trembling, not just from the cold coming from her dress, which had been drenched by the rain, but also from the fear that the men chasing after her would find her. Blood continued to ooze from the injury she had sustained on her ankle while trying to run away from them. Her chest visibly moved up and down at a very fast pace, and parts of her wet hair had settled on her forehead, camouflaging her face with the rainwater to cover the tears on her cheeks. At first, she could hear their footsteps fast approaching, and then there came another gunshot. She held her chest, her eyes tightly shut as she bit into her lower lip to keep herself from screaming in fear, more tears rolling down her cheeks. A masculine voice, which sounded annoyed, came from behind: "You fools, I said no shooting; we need her a l i...." Before the man could complete his statement, another gunshot rang out, followed by another one. Struck by realization, he turned to see three of his men lifeless on the forest ground. He pulled out his gun to defend himself, but his eyes widened when he saw his predator; it was the beast itself. Too late for him, the last bullet struck his forehead, and he dropped dead. Judith could feel her heart racing more than ever as the sound of footsteps chasing after her diminished following the gunshots she heard, making her wonder how many people were after her life. Then there came very light sounds of footsteps again, which made her want to squeeze herself into the big tree. She was still in this state of panic and confusion when the footsteps approached very close to her. The darkness did not help matters; she couldn't see the face, but she turned her gaze in the direction where the steps seemed to halt. "Pleeasss...... do..n't... I.. I.. will..." She couldn't find the right words to say; she could feel her panic; she was scared and trembling, which angered him even more. He was the only one permitted to make her feel this way. "Rabbit," he called softly, her eyes widening in both shock, disbelief, and, most especially, relief.
