Chapter 1 Junior Boyfriend Paying Off His Debt To Me

Author: Yueyang Yue Ya

To be honest, my boyfriend only dated me to pay off his debt to me.

He was a college student, but he accidentally scratched my Mercedes-Maybach, which was worth more than a million dollars.

So he asked me "Can I pay you 150 dollars?"

"Are you short of money?" I smiled and told him, "Don't worry. You don't have to pay."

"Why don't you be my boyfriend to pay off your debt to me?"

After the deal was made, I looked at the young college boy in front of me and raised my eyebrows proudly. "What a bargain."

He pulled a long face, frowned, and cursed me in a low voice. However, the moment I turned around, he secretly curled his lips.

The best hunters always appeared as prey.

This was a story between a beautiful, rich but mischievous older girl and a cunning student toy boy.

Today, under the background music of "It's a Small World", I was invited to go back to my alma mater, the University of Samsville, to give a speech as an excellent alumnus.

The music was good. The presentation went very smoothly and I was in a good mood. I took a deep breath and was about to shout, "The University of Samsville, Helena Johnson is finally back!"

Unfortunately...

There were two deep and long scratches on the door of my new Mercedes-Maybach. I could see the bottom paint!

"Who? Who is it? How dare you scratch my love?"

"Miss, is this car yours?"

A student poked his head out from the rear end and came up to me after getting off his bike.

He pointed to the handle of his bike and casually showed me the remaining red paint on it.

"Sorry, I scratched your car," he said.

Sorry? He sounded stiff and distant, without the slightest trace of regret!

"Hey, kiddo, you scratched my new car. How dare you be so casual about it..." I looked up angrily, ready to teach him a lesson of regret.

Wait, I was the one regretting it.

Following his hand, I saw that his hand was slender and his wrist was white. Although the white shirt he was wearing was not of great quality, the figure underneath was mouthwatering.

What was more attractive was his well-defined features, which were flamboyant and bright. There was also a hint of pride and coldness of young men in his eyes.

"Tsk, tsk. He does have look for being so casual about it."

But his face made me want to bully him and see how he would look stripped of his pride.

Seeing that I had stopped talking, the young man pursed his lips, took out his mobile phone, and showed me his QR code for payment. "Sorry, miss. I'll compensate you."

This time, his voice softened a little.

My heart softened as well. I laughed and said, "How are you going to pay for it?"

I was going to tell him that I could fix it by going to the insurance company.

"It's not like you can afford to pay for it."

But I spoke before I had time to think, so I said the truth out loud directly.

He paused and frowned as if he had been insulted, then said word by word. "Miss, don't worry. I will definitely pay for it."

"I have 200 dollars left for my living expenses this month. Taking off the money I need for food, I can pay you 100 dollars. Is that enough?"

I smiled at him.

He gritted his teeth and made up his mind. "Well... I'll have sandwiches and pay you 150 dollars. Is that okay?"

I continued to smile at him.

Only then did he realize the seriousness of the problem. His voice sounded a little weak. "How much do I have to pay for it? Can I pay you in installments?"

That was what I had been waiting for!

"It won't cost much." I counted with my fingers. "I had just bought this car, and it's worth more than one million dollars. For the two scratches you left on my door, I'll have to repaint the door, which would only cost 20 thousand dollars."

Seeing that his expression finally cracked, I quickly waved my hand and put on a kind face.

"But how can I let you pay for it in installments? After all, we are schoolmates."

His eyes twinkled as he secretly breathed a sigh of relief. I continued.

"Kiddo, how about this? You can pay the debt with yourself."

"What?" He widened his eyes, and his cool features were full of disbelief.

"Pay off the debt with me?"

I smiled kindly and nodded as I patted the back of his hand comfortingly.

I snatched his phone from his hand, opened his WhatsApp, scanned the code, and added him as a friend. It was done in one go.

I was even thoughtful enough to add myself to his contact list, under the name of "Helena Johnson, your debtor".

Looking at his student ID, I also took down his number as "Carl Styles, the college student that owes me money".

Only then did Carl come to his senses. He grabbed his phone, glared at me, and asked, "How do you want me to compensate you?"

"I want you to keep me company." I raised my eyebrows and smiled at him.

I opened the door and patted the passenger seat.

"Come on. I'll tell you."

He was stiff.

After getting in the car, Carl first buttoned up his shirt, and then his whole body became stiff as a board.

He stared straight ahead but kept an eye open to be on guard against those around him.

Which was me.

I looked at him for a while before suddenly moving closer to him mischievously. In the blink of an eye, my face was almost touching his nose.

Feeling his rapid breathing, I chuckled and whispered in his ear, "Don't move."

He stayed still as a statue. Carl's whole body was tense, and only his Adam's apple bobbed unnaturally.

Under his gaze, I fastened his seat belt and reminded him. "No matter where you go, safety comes first."

Carl withdrew his gaze in embarrassment, let out a long sigh, and turned to look out of the window.

Her ears had turned red.

"How should I pay off my debt?" he asked in a muffled voice.

I cleared my throat and said in a negotiating tone, "I am a very fair person. You have a good figure and look.

"If you become my boyfriend for six months, you'll have paid off your debt to me."

Carl suddenly turned to look at me, and his frown deepened. "Your boyfriend? To pay off the debt?"

"Sure." It made perfect sense.

However, Carl obviously felt that it made no sense and threw me a look of disgust.

"You're rich but cruel!"

Hey! I paid for labor services. It wasn't like I tricked him into selling his body for money.

"Fine." I stepped on the brakes and parked by the side of the road. Then I gave him my hand with my palm up and said, "You owe me 20 thousand dollars. Pay me, now." At the same time, I tried to persuade him, "Think about it. You are just a college student. If you go out to work or do an internship, would anyone pay you 20 thousand dollars in half a year?"

As my hand came up closer to him, Carl backed away bit by bit. Finally, he lowered his eyes and leaned against the car door.

Gritting his teeth, he compromised and said. "5 months!"

As a man of morals, he also added an additional clause. "I'll say it upfront. I won't do anything against the law."

"Deal!"

I couldn't help but whistle.

In negotiations, money was the most important thing.

Although the pride in his eyes died down a little, he still refused to admit defeat. I couldn't help but want to laugh at his expression.

"Kiddo, you're still too young and naive. You bargained with me and changed the contract period from 6 months to 5 months. Does this count as winning?"

5 months was just my first step. The next step was... I changed my destination and drove to a menswear store!

"This one, this one, that one..." I picked out a few suits for Carl to try out.

He hugged his clothes and looked sideways at me without moving.

After all, whether it was the decoration and location of the store or the materials and craftsmanship of its clothes, they all had one word written all over them, "Expensive".

I comforted him. "We aren't buying them. Trying them on is free."

He didn't move.

I went on to tempt him more. "Have you ever taken Economics classes? If you dress handsomely and well, your price will be a little higher. Maybe then you can negotiate with me and pay off 20 thousand dollars in 4 months."

After thinking about it for a while, he eventually walked into the fitting room.

When he came out again, I was humming "It's a Small World" and fell from the chair I was sitting on.

Carl was wearing a striped casual suit, and the top button of his shirt had been forcefully unbuttoned by the shop assistant. He was tall and had long legs, and he looked like a model.

It was as if I had just seen Prince Charming putting on his prince-wear for the first time. I was stunned and it took me a lot of effort to suppress the urge to clap.

With a wave of my hand, I said. "Good. I'll change our contract period to 4 months!"

Carl was a little surprised. He didn't expect me to be so generous all of a sudden, but before he could cheer about it...

Beep! I swiped my card.

"Thank you, Miss Johnson. You have made a purchase of 30 thousand dollars." The shop assistant returned the card to me happily.

Carl was surely good at his studies. He suddenly became nervous.

"Who will pay for it?"

Everything has a price to pay. I smiled gently at him. "Since you're wearing it, I believe that would be you."

"Let me remind you, kiddo, you owe me 50 thousand dollars now."
